The BEST hotel in St Martin you’d never find on your own and why. This is resort.

When you pull up a seat in the restaurant/ bar you’ll quickly feel you’re not surrounded be standard tourists. These folks all seam to have been here before or are living on the island. And you’d be right. Marys Boon is a place that only long time St Martin guests and locals know about. It’s that vibe that makes this place so special.

Add to that it’s only one of two hotels in all of Simpson Bay and one of very few hotels on the island where you can stay and dine with your feet in the sand. It’s boutique. Even the “garden” rooms are only ten steps from the beach.

It feels exclusive. And it is. You’ll only share the mile long beach with a handful of people during morning walks and evening sunsets. And only those “in the know” will be there. Chill, happy, celebratory people.

IT’S HAPPENING! Greece! You’ve been asking for this for years! I’m visiting this August to prepare a trip for summer 2025. Pics are my various accommodations. 🥰

I don’t want to spill all the beans but I will tell you to expect an authentic experience outside of the standard tourist traps. Small Greek villages, authentic restaurants and unreal beaches. Excursions that emerge you in culture and take you to places most would never find on their own.

I’ll be leaking out more info in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to our page the first week in August to come along while I test out everything I’ve planned!

Here’s how we’re different. If you were to visit St Martin everyone would tell you to go to Pinel Island. You’d book a taxi for $50 each way then wait to get on a packed ferry boat with fifty other people to get to Pinel. You’d all disembark at the same time and fight the crowd to get a lounger and a drink. At 3:00 the ferry sounds the horn and the whole crowd returns together. 🤮

When you travel with Flow your day looks like this. Our private driver picks us up at our hotel in a big comfy van. Once there we jump in two person kayaks and casually cruise 20 minutes to Pinel. We also stop on a sand bar half way there which itself is something to not be missed. But 99.9% of people do. Our pre-arranged VIP sun loungers are waiting for us on arrival. We know the servers and they come get our drinks quick. When the massive crowds leave at 3:00 we have nearly the whole island to ourselves for an hour. We leave at sunset with nearly no one around.

Day 3 Thailand. Chartered a private boat to Koh Rok. Went snorkeling. Stopped at a beach hut for refreshments. Had lunch on a secluded beach. Swam. Blissed. Watched the sunset from our hotel. Had dinner at a Rasta bar on the beach.

One day in Sayulita, Mexico. Private driver picks us up at our villa. Drops us off at our private boat charter. Cruise across the Bay of Banderas. Arrive at the quaint town of Quimixto. Hop on some horses and enjoy a fun ride up to a waterfall. Enjoy lunch. Swim. Relax. Margarita infused ride back to the boat. Dock in a quiet cove for more swimming and fun. Cruise back across the bay to wrap the day. It’s pretty much a perfect day! And there’s five more like it.

Day 5: Woke up in paradise to a perfect morning. Had some downtime to relax. Some got a beach massage. Headed to Maho beach and pulled up a front row seat in some comfy beach loungers at the cutest little restaurant. Watched planes land so close to our heads it felt like we could touch them. Found the best Pina Colada on the island and another interesting drink you won’t find anywhere else. Played in crystal clear water. Headed home with the sunset. Perfect day.

Day 4: Wow! Started the day going down the worlds steepest zip line. Were we scared. Yeah a little. But we did it and filled our bodies with endorphins and a sense of accomplishment. We then went to a jungle lounge pool where we dined, played and laughed. A lot. Finished the day celebrating one of the crew’s birthday at a swanky sushi restaurant and dancing at the rooftop bar after.

Day 3: Chartered a private boat to take us from St Martin to Anguilla. Stopped on an island only 800 feet long in the middle of the ocean off the coast of Anguilla. Stopped in a cove to test our wits, jump off a rock (some of us) and snorkel. Saw a turtle and a ray. Had lunch in another beach with our toes in the sand. Made it home just in time for sunset at our hotel and a wonderful meal sharing stories of the day.

Day 2: Woke up in paradise. Took a day trip on “Rhino Rider” mini boats around the island. Stopped to snorkel at a rock outcropping just off shore. Had an AMAZING lunch! Rode home. Had some down time at our resort before heading off to another delicious meal up in the jungle overlooking Simpson Bay and the airport landing strip. Three more amazing days to go.

Day 1: Kayaked and stand up paddled to a small island. Enjoyed lunch on the water. Played silly games. Laughed, shared and connected. Paddled back with the sunset.

Helicopter tour to glacier or float plane tour to fishing? Can you believe we do both in Alaska?

One day we fly up to the glacier and land at its base. The views alone are with the trip! But then we walk on it, drink from it and stare down into it’s stunning blue crevices. Option to just take the flight tour without the glacier hike as well.

Another day we jump in a float plane and take off from a remote lake. We fly across the ocean and land on another remote lake. Then we board a flat bottom fishing boat and go to a waterfall where Sockeye salmon are running. The bears know where to enjoy a good breakfast as well so they are just feet from us while we fish. Before leaving our captain grills up a salmon right on the boat! The fish you just caught!

These are just two days in Alaska. Four more amazing ones to go!

Day 5 Panama - Beach cruiser day. Rode through town and along the shoreline with stops at three wonderful places. Each unique in its own way. We swam in pools and the ocean and threw axes on the beach. The final stop was a restaurant built by hand out of wood from the jungle. Food was amazing and we saw a sloth just feet from one of the tables .

Day 4 Panama - Cacao farm tour. Harvested the beans. Learned all the steps to make it into chocolate. Then paddled Cayucos (traditional local canoes). Watched a sloth climb down and back up her tree. Saw tons and tons of dolphins. Snorkeled in a beautiful mangrove reef.

Day 3 Panama - Boat taxi then a short walk through the jungle to beautiful Red Frog Beach where we had fish and shrimp tacos and played in the ocean. Saw some dolphins en route there. After, we boat taxied to The Floating Bar for more relaxation and play on floating toys. Just a day of soaking up the beauty of Bocas Del Toro.

Just your average family outing. Flew in a helicopter to a glacier. Hiked up its majestic slopes. Drank from its heavenly waters. Felt it’s amazing energy.

We’re convinced Alaska is the best family summer vacation destination in the world.
