An epic script reading of the feature film ‘Unemployed Santa’ by Lauren Moore and Lorna Norisse. The CFAA brought this fun event to its members and screenwriters as an opportunity to share the story and work out the kinks, and we have a great time too!

A REAL PAIN, which tells the story of two cousins who tour Poland to honor their grandmother. Along the way, they visit Jewish landmarks and build relationships with their tour group.

Mismatched cousins David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin) reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the odd-couple's old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.

The CFAA is the largest association of writers, directors, producers, actors, editors, crew and support services and people - all related to the local film and video production industry and community in the Sacramento, CA region. We have been supporting aspiring artists, students and seasoned professionals for over 15 years, and our organization continues to make an impact as an advocate for the Sacramento film industry and it’s people.

Hosting 3 programs each month, the CFAA schedules events every Tuesday night, and members and friends are all welcome to attend:
