A couple days ago I headed to the Community Observatory to take a look at the giant telescopes available for public viewing. I pulled out the camera just in case I could spot NEOWISE from there. The battery wasn't charged. I didn't have the tripod or shutter release for a long exposure shot either. This is the best image I could get, handheld. I thought the sky was really pretty, the moon was bright. I was able to see the craters on the moon using one of the Dobsonian telescopes there. I also got lucky to have viewed a falling star. I was stunned by the fireball moving on its parabolic curve, then fainting over the horizon.

I have seen some incredible photos of the comet over the last couple weeks. I wish I took an attempt to get a shot of it when it was brighter for better visibility. I'll try to spot it tonight. But if I can't find you again, Goodbye, Neowise! Until your next return in ~6800 years!
