Here's some technical information on diagnostic codes check it out
Harley Diagnostic Codes 04 – Present
Starting in 2004, Harley’s began to use serial bus technology (the ability to transfer multiple bits of data over a single wire) which allowed them to display DTC’s (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) for the end user. This can be very useful tool to point you in the right direction in solving issues.

You will notice that the engine light comes on when you first turn your ignition to the on position. After a few seconds, the light should go out. This is typically when you would want to start your bike. If the light comes back on and then goes out again, you have a historic code (no longer present). These can be useful to figure out intermittent problems. If the light happens to come back on and stay on, you have a current code.

Reading Codes

So here’s how you can retrieve your DTC’s. With the ignition switch in the off position on your bike, press and hold the trip meter button. While still holding the button, turn your ignition switch to the on position.

With the ignition switch in the off position, press and hold the trip meter button.
While still holding the button, turn your ignition switch to the on position.
Release the button. Your speedo indicators should illuminate and the needle should do a full sweep.
“diag” will appear on the odometer screen. Press the trip button once.
“PSSPt” is now displayed. Each of the letters represents a different area.
P = ECM / ICM (Engine / Ignition Control Module)
S = TSM / TSSM (Turn Signal / Turn Signal Security Module)
SP = Speedometer
t = Tachometer
You can highlight each area by pressing the button. Once the area you wish to select is highlighted, press and hold the button for 5 seconds.
If there are any codes, you will be able to go through them one at a time by pressing the button. Once you have them recorded, they can be cleared by holding the button for more than 5 seconds. Once “clear” is on the screen, press the button once more.
To exit the Diagnostic Mode, turn the ignition switch off.
List of Error Codes

Below is a list of diagnostic codes that you may come across. I’ve organized them into 5 different categories to help you better understand how things work.

06/27/2015

Well folks here's more important information for all you people out there that have models with the auto slack adjuster on all 6 speed's from 07 to 16
Harley Davidson made an auto slack adjuster for the primary chain which is not really working out that well these days it takes out the bearings & that can ruin the complete transmission gears
Harley Davidson recently came out with a manual slack adjuster for the primary chain that you can adjust your self .They claim that it's used for drag racing but that's not the fact.
Harley-Davidson came up with the manual slack adjuster

to cover their asses because they built an inferior bearing in the 6 speed transmission
I posted some pictures of the slack adjusters and the bearings and you can make up your own mind
I highly recommend you change it to the manual type slack adjuster before you ruin your transmission I have sold 4 transmissions within the last 10 weeks to people all over the country

Don't you be the next one

Harley Davidson sell that adjuster for drag racing at $140 Baker sells one for $200 you can read the article on Baker's website and it will describe all the things in great detail.
If you're interested in purchasing one from me I sell them for $125 + ships from 34771
You can call me or text me at 203 228 9436 complete information kenny from Bagger Parts 4U Google search it and you will find my page

Have you checked your sealed bearings on your wheels lately don't find out the hard way it may cost you a brand-new wheel or a hub
Good old Harley Davidson never coated the sleeve that keeps the bearings space inside your are sealed bearing wheels .They turns to rust and takes the bearings out I've had seen them have to be replacement a 10,000
The sealed bearings are packed poorly from the factory which also doesn't help the matter either I perform a free check up if anybody's interested and can replace the bearings for you if need them I have seen this on many occasions mostly the front wheel goes first
Every time you replace a tire they should be inspected replaced or repacked depending how many miles on the bike
Most dealers probably never look at those bearings very closely when they do service

For complete details you can call me at 203-228-9436 thanks kenny from Bagger Parts 4U just Google search me and you will find me thank you again
