I couldn’t help it. Embracing simple joy today. Me as a Disney character. 🤣
2024…I’m calling a year of embracing yes, and. I wrote about this in my chapter in @thelosseswekeep and how this approach allows space for deep pain and deep joy.
There was so much of both this year. And I’m grateful. For the good and the hard. 💕
At the beginning of 2024 I said I was embracing new growth, pursuing longtime dreams, and I chose a word of the year for the first time - impact. Perhaps I should have qualified that with grit. The grit to keep going during the messy times. To get to impact that puts good back into the world…my why.
Highlight reels are amazing. They also don’t show the hard, messy, self-doubt, grief, pain, and more that can lead up to the amazing highlight. If that’s you in the middle messy right now, I see you. Cheers to you for having the courage to pursue your dreams.
In this year of embracing yes, and, impact, I’m celebrating…
✅ Planning and making happen a dream long in the making - getting to take my daughters to France *with my mom, who has taken many many teenagers to Europe during her time as a French teacher. My heart is still full from this experience. 💕
✅ Becoming a published author. Thank you @jamicrist @jessicacbuchanan and @soulspeakpress for the opportunity to join The Losses We Keep project. I am so proud and honored to have been part of it. I have wanted to be a writer since I was a little girl, and I had no idea that one day I would choose to use my *own story in a way that I hope helps others. It was mountains of emotional labor to go back and revisit the details of #miscarriage #chronicpain #recurrentpregnancyloss and #mesothelioma and in the end I’m so glad I did. 💜
✅ Sending clients on amazing, sometimes once in a lifetime vacations to Europe and beyond. 2024 was a year I was truly able to merge my heart of serving others into planning vacations that will create #lifelongmemories for clients and I’m honored to have been part of making it happen. Thank you to my amazing clie

The Losses We Keep - Launches October 23
Through our upcoming anthology publication, I share about my journey of adding pockets of simple joy as I navigated pregnancy loss and a well-differentiated papillary mesothelioma diagnosis. I'm honored to be part of this publication with eight other women, and it is our dream to help others facing similar isolating life challenges. Whether this is you now, or something you've experienced in the past, we hope this will be a resource for you.
October 15 is pregnancy and infant loss awareness day. I often take time on this day to reflect on my 4 losses, and while the ongoing pain and grief is real, these losses impacted my motherhood journey in so many ways. With pain AND joy. And I’m so honored to be teaming up with 8 other women to launch The Losses We Keep, Our Journey of Fertility, Loss, and Neverending Hope, coming October 23. It is our hope that sharing our stories will help other women know - you are not alone in facing these things, there is hope, and there is power in coming together, sharing our stories, and removing some of the stigma and isolation that comes with loss. I invite you to learn more about how you can support this project by filling out the quick form linked. And mark October 23 on your calendar to purchase the book on Amazon!
Epcot France, or Paris, France? 😍
Epcot France or Paris, France, I love both and I love sending clients to both! Cheers to #paris2024
Nothing better than some amazing take away lunch, and a garden in the Marais to enjoy when in Paris! This was a spot only the locals know about, and it was a local Parisian who guided us there. You never know what amazingness you might find behind a door, wall or gate in Paris!
