Our St. Pete Store & Visitor Center team recently went for a team outing at Sonata Restaurant at The Mahaffey where they got to experience the magic of theater, art, and cuisine while celebrating each other.

St. Pete Store & Visitor Center Manager, Shelli Hemans, has a mix of employees and volunteers on her team. “It’s so important to show them, especially our volunteers, how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication,” Shemans said. “Every few months I try to plan something where we can not only have fun together, but get out of the office to experience the amazing places around town so we can share firsthand recommendations with our visitors.”

A big thank you to Sonata for hosting our St. Pete Store & Visitor Center team! Sonata is not just a place to eat—it's a multisensory experience! Located inside the Mahaffey Theater, Sonata features incredible artwork by Trish Duggan of Imagine Museum and Coastal cuisine with a Southern twist crafted to perfection by Chef Ted Dorsey.

Join us for the 51st Annual Sunrise Sale put on by the Downtown Business Association St. Petersburg at the St. Pete Store & Visitor Center in beautiful Downtown St. Pete, starting at 6:43 AM on Thursday, July 18th. This is a don't-miss event that's worth getting up before dawn! 🌅

We are so excited about the new addition to the St. Pete Store and Visitor Center, thanks to Dave from D M Construction, LLC! Due to the unique space in the store, we needed a custom table built for us. It’s halfway done, and soon the top will be added to help with more organization. This will allow the St. Pete Store and Visitor Center to efficiently pack your online orders while still being available for visitors. We can’t wait to see the final product!

As National Travel and Tourism Week comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our Community Leader, Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, for their incredible efforts in bringing travel and tourism to St. Petersburg.

We also appreciate their dedication in organizing the annual event at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport, where we get to share with travelers all the amazing activities and attractions our city has to offer. It was great to see some of the St Petersburg Chamber there, including Clearwater Marine Aquarium, 3 Daughters Brewing, and the Zubrick Magic Theatre display.
