The hosted an awesome snowshoeing event up here last weekend.

Check out their cross country ski event near St Elmo on April 6, 2024.

This event is designed to for people with some cross country skiing experience. Please do not bring other types of equipment (e.g. snowshoes or all-terrain skis). Cross country skis will be available to borrow, courtesy of

The United States Forest Service is seeking public comment on the proposed No Name Expansion Project.

It’s a snowy morning at the Crest but we are open! Grab a hot coffee from Freshies on your way over the pass!

As fall starts to take hold on Monarch Pass, we will begin adjusting our hours of operation accordingly.

For now, the building is open from 9am-5pm (7 days a week).

We will continue to run the tram through the end of September. Please be aware that as wind picks up, we regularly have to pause operation. Weather is generally better in the morning.

We will be running a very limited menu at Freshies but will still have plenty of grab and go options.
