Tim and I started our Walt Disney trip with an Epcot date.

We had drinks and these light, fluffy parker house rolls with citrus butter, bacon jam and pimento cheese at Ale & Compass Lounge at the Yacht Club before we walked to the International Gateway entrance at the back of Epcot.

We had dinner at Le Cellier in the Canada pavilion. The beat & goat cheese salad was so light and refreshing! Tim shared his ribeye with me and I had mussels for dinner. This was another second chance dish for me and the broth was so much better this time around!

We finished the night with a ride on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. It was soooo much fun!

We've heard good things about Tony's Town Square Restaurant lately and had to check it out for ourselves. I have to admit we didn't love it years ago, but I'm so glad we gave it another shot!!

We booked a 2:30 lunch and requested the atrium which is a fantastic spot! The 3:00 parade was delayed because of weather but it would have been a great location for watching from inside. It arrived just as we were finishing lunch.

The food was sooo good!! The garlic bread for the table with parmesan sauce was delicious! The pasta dishes were super flavorful and surprisingly not heavy!

Let's talk about table service dining at Walt Disney World!

We like good food when we travel, well we like it all the time, but especially when we travel. We like to try new places, but my absolute favorite restaurant is Wine Bar George at Disney Springs!! I could eat here regularly and be very happy!

During our recent visit to Walt Disney World we were able to stay at one of my favorite deluxe resorts, Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village!

I love Kidani Village and their sister resort Animal Kingdom Lodge so much! They are quiet, offer beautiful views, delicious dining(we ate at Boma twice!), and they are such a relaxing, calming oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle that can be Walt Disney World.

How do you tour the parks?

In my family it's about finding a balance. Some of us like a slower pace and breaks and some want to go from rope drop to park close. One thing the girls and I love is meeting characters!

Someone understood the assignment! Have you ridden Tron yet?! It's amazing and we made the decision to add an additional Magic Kingdom day and purchase individual lightning lanes for everyone so we could ride it 2 more times! It was absolutely worth it!

Out of the 11 Epcot World Showcase pavilions, France is my favorite!! It's beautiful, quiet, the food is delicious, and it has an incredible ride, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure!

Did you know that you are allowed, even encouraged, to visit other resorts on Walt Disney World property?

The other day we hopped a bus to Coronado Springs, because that was the first one we saw, and ate at their quick service location. It was so good!

Tonight we are having dinner at the beautiful Wilderness Lodge! Can you guest which restaurant we are eating at this evening? Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended at this popular place.

We've made a lot of Disney memories over the years, but today was one of my favorites! Tim, Aishlinn and I went on the Wild Africa Trek. Together we've done several behind to scenes tours at Walt Disney World and this was my favorite! From beginning to end I can't recommend this tour enough! I am glad we waited until Aishlinn was a bit older, I think she got so much joy and was able to appreciate it more. It's so immersive and we loved our amazing tour guides, the super cool animal interactions, our safari truck driver and the food, which was delicious. Hands down Wild Africa Trek is so worth it! I can't wait to see all the pics they took when I add the link in our My Disney Experience account tomorrow.

Remember how I said last week to stay hydrated?!

Did you know that you can visit any dining place that has a fountain, or any quick service location, and ask for a cup of water?! I stopped and asked at a bar that wasn't busy and they also gave us water. Most of the time you'll get these small cups, but once in a while we have found larger cups. I hear so many people saying they are spending a fortune on water, but you don't have to.

Port Orleans French Quarter is my favorite of the moderate resorts. It is small, quiet, beautifully themed, has awesome food and is a quick boat ride to Disney Springs.

Epcot hosts four different festivals through the year. That's a lot of festivals!

My favorite is the Food & Wine Festival! I love that it happens during the fall, which is my favorite time to visit Walt Disney World. I'm a self-proclaimed foodie so anytime I can try a whole bunch of small plates I'm a happy girl.
