Our backpacks and hiking boots are settling down for hibernation this winter while our skis are shaking off the dust. We had such a transformative summer with everyone who joined us in the Uintas and right now we are taking some time to gather our thoughts, sit with our vision for this business and renew our energy. We’ll be posting as we can throughout the winter so keep an eye out for updates and inspiration. We hope everyone gets outside this winter, whether on skis, snow shoes, or for dog walks around the block. Hooray for snow! ❄️

Thank you to all the amazing ladies who came on our trips this summer and our awesome partners! We had a blast! Our summer season is officially complete and we are going to be taking a break for a bit. We’ll be back in October for the Gear Swap. Happy Trails! 🥾🏕🏔👯‍♀️

We just wrapped up our last backpacking trip of our season with eight lovely ladies from Colorado and Nebraska! The first-time backpackers in the group absolutely crushed it! 👯‍♀️🥾🏕🏔🎉

“About this event

We will meet at the Donut Falls trailhead at 6:45 PM on 7/29. We will start our time together with some gentle yoga to get the muscles and body ready for the hike and open the circle to introduce ourselves and build community. At the actual waterfall we will stop for photos and you can walk into the cave where the water flows into, or hang out at the base and just soak up the nature. And then we'll head back together.
The trail itself is rated as easy. It's 3.3 miles long round trip with minimal incline. It is a very popular trail so we will likely pass other hikers. We will practice trail etiquette by leaving no trace and respecting others on the trail. We anticipate the entire time to take 2 hours with yoga and time to enjoy the falls. It is prime time wildflower season so we'll catch lots of wildflowers, squirrels, birds and other wildlife. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.
What to bring:
~ Water bottle
~Sunscreen
~Sunglasses
~Light layers/rain jacket just in case
You will be expected to get yourself to the trailhead. Trailhead is about 33 minutes from Salt Lake City. Feel free to reach out to other ladies who have registered for the event to carpool. Here are directions to the trailhead.

We just got back from an incredible trip with three amazing women and we couldn’t be more psyched. It was such a magical three days in the Uintas with everyone soaking up the experience, making new friends and eating (a lot of!) really good food. We saw so many beautiful alpine lakes, we tested our trivia knowledge around the campfire and we swam in some cold, refreshing water. Thank you to the women who joined us on this late July trip, it was such a pleasure to share these wonderful mountains with you.

Obstacles often come up on the trail. On this scouting mission a few weeks ago we were almost thwarted by a raging river and some sketchy crossings, but we were determined to get to that lake at the top. While it took us some extra time to find a way across, navigating it successfully turned out to be rewarding with the entire lake to ourselves at the end.

Wondering where to go on your next adventure? Summer is coming in hot and we still have room on trips in June, July and August, including our partnered trip with July 14-16. Our first trip of the season was a big success (despite some snow ❄️) and we want to keep the momentum! So join us on some (warmer, drier) backcountry excursions this summer!
