We recently met up with the gang from on their shop to Hanksville, Utah. We have not ridden that area of Utah in over five years! “What happened” was the question I had the whole trip. Covid came along and really changed everything. I got pretty sick and stayed that way for a while. We just got out of the habit of riding. When we do ride we don’t take the photos we used to because, well I don’t have a good reason for that. We just don’t. It isn’t because Utah has become too familiar. We are constantly stunned by the beauty of the state. Things change I guess. What I do know is that we have the power to change it back. We made a promise to each other to ride more the rest of the year. We promptly let life get in the way this past weekend. Oh well, we had good intentions. This road by the way is part of the Burr Trail near Boulder, Utah. Enjoy and see you down the road. We believe adventure is best shared with the one you love. I am wearing the Baja S4 kit this season. It moves plenty of air and is perfect for Utah weather. For chilly mornings I wear the Alderson Midweight flannel shirt. Matches the gear and keeps me warm. I do use the Klim Resilience jacket as well for chilly mornings. The nice thing is I can layer up with this kit so when it gets warmer I am not riding hot. The new Klim lifestyle clothing fits my riding style well. Works great with a kit like the Baja. We believe adventure is best shared with the one you love. We rode to the Great Salt Lake today. What a beautiful but chilly day. I broke out the new Klim flannel shirt today and glad I did! It was a cool 49* along that lake. I picked up a couple of the new flannels and they look good with the switchback pants. It’s a good fall gear setup. I’m still holding on to my old Revener jacket for days like this. For what it is worth it smells like the ocean. It was a good day. We believe adventure is best shared with the one you love.
