🇺🇸 This morning, the team joined the San Angelo Fire Department, San Angelo Police Department &West Texas RSVP volunteers in placing 2,977 flags, each representing a life tragically lost on 9/11. We are deeply grateful to everyone who came together to honor these memories.

Join us tomorrow at 9 AM at the memorial site for a ceremony of remembrance. Let’s gather as a community to pay tribute and reflect on the enduring impact of that day. San Angelo Chamber of Commerce

Join us for a fun-filled summer as The Bosque is officially open🌿 Whether you’re looking to enjoy a game of miniature golf, try your hand at bocce ball, or paddle around in a kayak, we’ve got you covered. Check out our summer hours and prices below:

📅 Summer Hours (June 8 - Sept. 1):

• Wednesday: Closed
• Monday-Friday: 12 p.m.-8 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

🕒 Equipment rentals end one hour before closing.

💲 Prices:

• Miniature Golf: $5/game (ages 5+), $3/person for groups of 6+ (ages 5+), Free for kids under 5
• Volleyball: Free if you bring your own ball, $5 to rent
• Bocce Ball, Washer Pitching, Giant Chess: Free
• Kayaks: $10/hour (single), $15/hour (double)

🎉 The Texas Shrine Association is coming to San Angelo this weekend! 🎉

Join us on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 9:50 a.m. for an exciting Shriners Parade through downtown! Expect to see clowns, go-karts, bands, vehicles, mounted units, antique vehicles, and marching units. The parade will start at the 500 block of South Oakes Street and end at the McNease Convention Center.

We are honored to have Mayor Brenda Gunter as the Grand Marshall and dignitaries from the National Shriners Hospitals for Children participating. Hundreds of Shriners and their families will be here for the Annual Convention of the Texas Shrine Association Ceremonial and All-State Competitions.

Shriners Hospitals for Children® has been providing medical care to children without financial burden since 1922, treating over 1.4 million children.

🎉 What an incredible afternoon at our Travel & Tourism Luncheon! 🎉

Under the theme "Travel Powers San Angelo's Economy," we celebrated a fantastic 2023, where visitor spending saved San Angelo households $427 in taxes! 🙌 We unveiled our exciting new marketing plan, "Cowboys & Creatives," and proudly announced our two recent Texas Travel Awards for Best Destination for Arts & Culture and Best Visitor Center in Texas! 🏆

A huge thank you to our “Heartbeats of Hospitality” , the amazing Visitor Center volunteers who received challenge coins for their dedication. 🌟 We also introduced our new Insider Program to the public, and it’s already generating buzz!

The event was filled with wonderful moments, from Case Hardin powerful rendition of the National Anthem to Alejandro Castanon live painting of famous Pop Artist and San Angelo native, James Gill. 🎨

Special thanks to The Pitt BBQ for the delicious catering and Balloon Creations by Kourtney for the stunning balloon decorations! We were also delighted to showcase art from local artists Raul Ruiz and our Artist of the Quarter, Val Hague.
