I’ve been mia, sorry about that but I’ve been knitting and crocheting. I finally got my Vogue Knitting magazine and since someone complained about my Forever First Lady not wearing any knit wear I decided to dress her up! This is the All Day Beret and can be found on Ravelry or on the Vogue Knitting website and it’s a very easy pattern, enjoy!

I think I've found a sweater to knit and will make a change to the button band to use handmade buttons I bought on the Yarn Crawl. The buttons were on sale for a couple of dollars, I didn't know buttons were so expensive, they were about $18, bought at L'Atelier in Redondo Beach, CA. They have the best flooring I've ever seen and some awesome yarn! Sweater pattern is Sea Breeze, from Skacel and found on the Ravelry website and its free!

Good afternoon! Today I made spaghetti with pasta sauce, hamburger meat, spinach, onions, green onions, tomatoes, basil from my meager garden, cooked in the pressure cooker. I planted the green onion bottoms and hope to see results soon.

Pressure cooking is the best! Angel hair pasta, Farmer John sausage, Prego sauce, water and basil that we grow. This was made in about 15 minutes, chopping and picking veggies. I'm stuffed and want some more. What is everybody cooking today?
