Last week we got some of our friends who’ve never tried one of our tours to come and see what we do for thousands of people each year. We did the “Tequila, Tacos and Tombstones” tour in Old Town, and had a blast! Most locals don’t take the time to take tours, but when they do, they realize how much they don’t know about our city. It’s our honor and privilege to share the city’s stories and local establishments. We love our SD Mingle friends, and we love our job! 🥰 DM us to be added to our email list for the next SD Mingle outing!
We’ve been busy planning tours all throughout San Diego for our group clientele, and each time we are in North County we come across a new and unique local establishment. All of these places are fueled by so much love and passion, and @restaurant.valentina is no exception. This cute neighborhood restaurant had some delicious food - from their bread and butter, their chimichurri sauce, oysters and wine selection…it’s a must if you’re in the area, and worth the trip if you’re in the city! #leucadia #leucadia101

Announcing our next SD Mingle on March 16 from 5-7pm at Salvatore’s Cucina and Lounge in the Marina District of Downtown!! We are excited to showcase this beautiful restaurant - known for so many years as one of the area’s most romantic Italian restaurants. It’s recently undergone a massive remodel, and now it’s the spot to go for tasty Italian fusion, craft cocktails, and fun! Our friend @iamnoel.media will be spinning some upbeat music, so be ready to wiggle as you taste bites and cocktails from the restaurant. Everyone is invited!
SD Mingle is a monthly happy hour on every 3rd Thursday of the month, and our mission is to create a sense of community where we see regulars every month, making new friends or seeing old friends you don’t see as often as you’d like. We host these at different local establishments so you can explore amazing venues! We want to encourage you to bring friends, colleagues, acquaintances, or the crush you’ve been hoping to run into 😉 Tickets are only $30, and we include a drink, some bites, entertainment, and happy hour pricing throughout the time of the event. We hope to see you there!
This month’s happy hour is sponsored by @black_diamond_construction - a commercial construction company that specializes in upgrading work spaces, retail shops, and restaurants!

The weather in San Diego has been so unusual with so much rain and snow in the mountains. We headed to Laguna Mountain for a fun snow day, and if you’re planning on heading up in the next week, here are some tips for you the make the most of your day.
1. Arrive early (especially on weekends). We arrived at 8:30am, and I’d recommend coming even a little earlier like 8am. The traffic was ok while we were on our way up on Sunrise Hey, but only a half hour later, and it was grid lock traffic, and the mountain was closed at some point in the morning resulting in many cars being unable to stop and park, or even able to go up.
2. Drive all-wheel drive vehicles or bring chains. There were many cars slipping and sliding, running into each other, and stopping traffic. Drive slow in the morning because it will be icy.
3. Bring your own meals…this way, if you are parked and see the traffic, you can stay and relax without feeling rushed to leave the mountain.
4. Do not litter! Bring trash bags to keep the forest clean.
5. No bathrooms 😳
6. Get an Adventure Pass to park in designated spots to avoid being ticketed.
6. Dress accordingly…snow boots, waterproof clothes and gloves. We got caught in a mini blizzard and it was cooold!
This kind of weather doesn’t happy too often, but it’s amazing that we can drive an hour and get to the snowy mountains. Laguna mountain recently got a couple of feet of snow, so make the best of it! Enjoy your time, and remember to plan accordingly, and respect the natural beauty of The Cleveland National Forest.
