Our Story

Hello! I'm Katie Howser, a Lactation Consultant based in San Francisco. I provide personalized care and build lasting relationships – our goal together is to come up with a plan that fits your individual needs. My philosophy is to empower your family with evidence-based techniques and to provide you with a safe environment where you can ask any question.

I graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Communications. I then went on to do post-graduate work in Postpartum and Lactation care at University of California, San Diego. During that program, I worked directly with patients in a hospital setting at Kaiser San Francisco for 9 months. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

For the last five years, I have been providing customized in-home care so that new families can be more comfortable and we can take as much time as needed. As of Spring 2018 I have worked with over 2,500 families, providing classes, in-home care, and private hospital visits.
