We also went to visit Humayan's Tomb in Delhi. It's a tomb of one of the Mughal emperors and it's very grand and beautiful. We enjoyed the sun light shining golden on the red sandstone. Traditional Mughal architecture has red sandstone inlaid with white marble. Isn't it striking?
I also had fun taking a few pictures with light coming in the screens. We toured the inside and then we went to see another tomb on the grounds. This one was built earlier and it has very nice blue inlaid stones. Also the sunset was nice!

Here we are in India!! We are starting out in Delhi for several days. First we visited the lotus temple, which is a bahai temple. It was super beautiful outside ands when we went inside they had a short service where hoomans sang passages from religious texts from different religions. The acoustics were beautiful and the sound rang around the room. It was super cool!! There was no filming inside so we can't share a video. We also rode on some auto rickshaws 🛺 which were super fast and fun!
Then we went to a shopping market called Dili Haat to check out arts and crafts from across India. We also had yummy lunch from Sikkhim state, up in the Himalayas! Rupert had veg momos with fruit beer and I had chicken manchurian which is Indian Chinese food! Yay for lunch!!
As we were leaving we saw dancers performing the story of Goddess Durga triumphing over evil!!

What excitement! We are off on another terrific travel adventure!! Can you guess where we're going? Keep scrolling the pics and you'll see!!
I did some chillin in the airport first, then boarded the plane. As we took off I had a great view of San Francisco and golden gate park!
Then lunch arrived. It was pretty good food and really got me in the mood for my destination! Rupert popped his head up above the seats to see how many hoomans were on the plane. We didn't see any plushies though.
It was a loooong flight so we had time to watch several movies. We picked a bollywood film first. Then dinner arrived. Rupert liked the cheesecake for dessert. Then movie number 2! Whew, it was such a long flight that we had time for several naps as well as all that. Are we there yet??

Yum yum yum! Here's some of the yummy food we enjoyed on retreat. We had lunch at an afghan restaurant with delicious grilled beef, check, and fish on a mountain of rice! With a delicate almond milk custard sprinkled with pistachios for dessert.
Here's our ride to and from meals!
Rupert saw another pretty sunset from the hotel plus some hotel art representing Oakland. These are the Iron horses, or cranes in Oakland harbor and they're iconic.
Then for dinner we had Korean barbecue and vietnamese rice rolls. The hoomans were so kind as to cook for us and it was really yummy!! Then for dessert we had this vietnamese coconut milk drink which was so good!! It had taro syrup, fresh coconut, grass jelly, jackfruit and many other things. It was terrific!!!
We certainly ate well at retreat!!!

I've been so busy with trips lately that I didn't show you the pics from my most recent staff retreat worth hooman and her work hoomans. I go to their staff retreat every year and now she told me that they've started holding two retreats per year! Yay more fun for me!!
This year they held the second retreat in Oakland which is the town next to where we live. So we were basically hosting all the other work hoomans in our place!! To celebrate I invited Rupert to come to. He usually doesn't attend as he has to stay with hits hooman, but this time we asked permission for him to join me! And he was beary curious to see what hooman work is like. I showed him that retreats are mainly drinking coffee, eating nice food and the hoomans doing a lot of boring talking. I ignore that part and just enjoy the food and drink and the place where we are. First two pics are of us enjoying coffee and a biscuit. Great start to day one! Then we had a nice nap as hoomans started the blah blah. In the evening we checked out our hotel room and got a pretty sunset to enjoy! Then time for bed and we are tucked in!
In the morning we had a visit from Karl the Fog. I guess he wanted to show off for the visitors! I time for coffee and more blah blah!!

Last thing I did in Calistoga was to go on a walk in a petrified forest! A very long time ago there was a volcanic eruption in this area and the ash knocked down a lot of trees and covered them up. After a very long time the trees disintegrated and the space was filled with rock, creating petrified wood. Isn't that cool?? So all the knocked over tree trunks in my photos are actually made of stone, not wood. It had just rained quite a bit the day before so that's why there are big puddles around all the trees. chan.neko can I get a badge for petrified wood?

When you're wine tasting it helps to remember, don't worry, be furry!! And oh the wine! We had so many pours that I started to forget which ones I liked the best! But it was a great time and we had this delish rose made from syrah grapes. Do you like wine? Red or white or rose?
Plus here is a pic of me among the grape vines! There are no grapes growing right now cause it's winter. And I'm also posing in front of the Napa Valley sign. It's a famous spot to take a picture.
Apparently Robert Louis Stevenson once visited here and said that the wine is like bottled poetry. And in Napa they'll never forget that quote! Ha ha 😂

Ooh boy! Would you get into this tub full of hot mud? It's clay, peat moss, and natural mineral water and it's supposed to be beary good for your skin! I was too nervous that it might strain my fur so I opted for the hot tub instead. Then I had a lovely and relaxing lie down in the cool down room and enjoyed the ambience with candles! The whole room smelled like lemon grass.
Also enjoy some of these gorgeous trees I saw along with a big hill made of the ashes from a long ago volcano!

What a great relaxing vacation! At our hotel they had a pool and hot tub filled with water from the hot springs! I mostly relaxed in my spa robe by the pool cause I don't want to get the wet disease! but I did go into the sauna, it was wonderful!!
Then I went out for a glass of sparkling wine! Delightful!
When we went out for brunch I got a waffle with whipped cream and banana! Yum, I love brunch!! I also did some wine shopping. Calistoga is fun!

Over the week between Xmas and New Years I went on a little jaunt to the town of Calistoga. It's located in Napa which is the heart of California wine country. It was a lot of fun and here are some of my pics! First we stopped for lunch in the little town of St Helena. Look at this wine barrel Christmas tree!!
It was a cute town and we walked around to check out the Victorian architecture, the Christmas decorations, and the funny car with an airplane propeller on it! There was also a store front that was covered by scissors! I don't know why!!
I had a nice lunch of grilled salmon and beet and goat cheese salad.
When we arrived in Calistoga we checked into a very nice hotel. I got to try out my new robe when I was relaxing in my room! Later we're going too go and take the waters, to enjoy the natural hot springs in this town!

OK last of our pics from the fancy Filoli house and gardens! We got to inspect the kitchens and back rooms of the house, that was pretty cool to see how it operated. Big old stove, actual ice box, what they used before they had fridges! A wreath made from vegetables, a dumbwaiter to carry food up and down, and a copy of the house in gingerbread!! How Christmasy!!
Then we went back outside to see the last of the beautiful lights!!
Look at this waterfall of lights cascading down to the pond! Mardi Gras colored lights and colorful balls! The pink lanterns look so pretty at night!!

After touring the grounds at Filoli Gardens, we went into the fancy house. It looked very nice all decorated for Christmas! We saw lots of pretty Christmas trees and wreaths and even one made out of stacked books!! Which do you like best?
I also ogled the silver and the table settings. Then I saw where the silver is stored in the butler's pantry which can be locked with a big metal door like a bank vault!! They must have known I was coming!!

We wanted to show our Xmas gifts off to you all! Rupert just pointed out that we gave me gifts than we received and he then realized that the hoomans clearly owed us some coupons for things to come. So Rupert will get a coupon for one ice cream and I will get a coupon for one fabulous fashion shoot!! Yay!
After that there are more pics from our evening out for Christmas at Filoli Gardens. We wandered through the gardens looking at all the lights. Then we sat by the fire drinking cider and looked at the pretty Christmas tree. Finally we took pictures with trees and the moon as a perfect backdrop. So pretty!!

Hi Everyplushie, would you like a piece of our pawmade fruit cake? If you engender, I made it back in November and I've been slowly feeding it with cognac to make it nice and rich and now that it's Christmas it's ready to eat!! All of us bears are gathered around to have some!!
I also got to check out my cousin's miniature for. Isn't she clever? She makes all of these tiny treats herself from kits and then they are so tiny and pretty!! Do you ever make tiny food like this? Which is your favorite one?? I like the churros!

Merry Christmas to you all! Tonight we had Italian food for dinner and we ended our meal with homemade tiramisu!! We each had a nice piece and then Rupert and Ruben tried to jump into the tray to help themselves!! We're happy to be with cousin Walter too!!
