Lake Ashi may seem still on the surface, but there’s depth in its calm.
Surrounded by mountains, scattered with quiet shrines, and offering fleeting views of Mt. Fuji when the clouds part, it’s more than a destination.

It’s a place to pause.

One of the best ways to save money is by booking at just the right time. For domestic flights, booking about two to three months in advance usually gets you the best prices. For international getaways, better prices tend to be about three to six months ahead. Looking to save even more? Flying midweek can also lead to unexpected savings. Where are you planning to go next?

The Kassena people in southern Burkina Faso decorate their homes with striking geometric patterns using natural pigments. These intricate designs reflect their unique identity, history, and local cultural beliefs. The entire village becomes a living canvas where tradition and creativity meet. Visitors can tour the homes, meet the artisans, and even try their hand at the painting process.

Pam Harper Horst- Owner, Pams Path to Travel

My name is Pam Horst and I’ve been in the Travel Business since 1990. I graduated from Travel School in August of 1990 and two weeks later (after a much needed vacation), I began my first position in the Travel Industry. Over the years, I worked the front lines, back office functions & outside sales in a traditional brick & mortar agency. I’ve worked “in house” for large companies booking all of their employees travels. In 2005, I decided it was time to take my business home and opened Pams Path to Travel. By far, the best business decision that I could have ever made, eliminating commute time, money, wear & tear on car and body while providing me with the utmost in flexibility to work when and where I need to.

In the course, of this wonderful career I have been able to travel to many places with some of my favorites being Disneyland, Disney World, Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean, Italy, Paris, Alaska & just about anywhere on a Cruise Ship. As of 2018, I have been on 44 cruises with at least 3 more scheduled in the coming year--so this is an ever growing number. My husband who never cruised when we first met in 2004 has now been on 33 cruises! He loves them too.

Though I have not traveled the world (yet), I have plenty of connections to be able to plan your trip to anywhere you wish to go. I have had much success planning trips for clients going to Italy, Spain, Ireland, Germany, Greece, Switzerland, France, Thailand, Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Belize, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti & Fiji. I’m sure I’m leaving some out! So never fear, wherever it is that you wish to go, I can help you plan that memorable trip!
