In South Africa, a rusk is a traditional biscuit (called beskuit in Afrikaans) that is eaten after having been dipped in coffee or tea. It was also extensively used during times of war or when traveling long distances.Rusks are a South Africans staple. Rusks are a fantastic breakfast for people on the go. We enjoy Rusks for breakfast, tea time and after dinner ( with another cup of tea). The corre

ct way to eat rusks is by dipping them in a cup of hot tea or coffee – this is essential to experience the full flavour of the rusk. I am now able to offer you seven delicious flavours :

Hi everyone
Welcome to this special time of prayer.

Today, we conclude our reflection on the story of some of the events leading up to the birth of Christ. I hope these reflections have been a blessing to you.

Our passage today is one of the key prophecies regarding the birth of Jesus - it is also really well-known :-)

Try not to let the familiarity take away the wonder and awe. During the reflection, savor the words and let them fill your heart. How would you respond if you were hearing these words for the first time?

For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
