Hayward's sister city of Faro will be among the stops when the chamber of commerce resumes its international travel program in March 2022 with a 10-day exploration of Portugal.

For decades, Hayward chamber trips have taken our travelers around the world, and next year's will include stops at World Heritage Sites, castles, Roman ruins, wineries, and the "Portuguese Riviera." A stop in Faro will include exploration of the 9th Century walls and a cooking demonstration with a local chef.
