Now that Spring has arrived, an 11 am daily tour has been added on Thursdays-Saturdays. This is in addition to the normal 1:15 pm tour M-Sat, and 2:00 pm on Sundays. Meet on the front steps of the mission to join in these free public tours.

We've added several displayers to our upcoming event: Lynn Maxwell, master metalsmith, will demonstrate 'Repousse' and 'Chasing,' Doug Bradly will do actual blacksmithing on a forge, Olive Oil tastings throughout the day, all to the background of 1840's top hits on the guitar and mandolin! Please bring your children, grandchildren and enjoy the sunny Courtyard under the majestic oak! See you there! Connie

Get a tour of the beautiful historic sanctuary and the bell tower at our fabulous 250th Celebration Event, February 20, 11-3 in the Courtyard. Dancers, live music, food, weavers, blacksmith, kid's activities. This is THE DAY to learn all about your local mission.

On a free daily tour, no reservations necessary, you will learn the fascinating story of the 5th mission, Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, founded in 1772. Tour guides will share the history of the architecture, the people and Alta California days.
