A year in review. We attended 11 events this year with Steampunk Sea. Two of those were for the first time with our balloon. We put a little over 36 hours on the balloon this year. That time was from 31 flights and eight tether/glows. We flew a total of 57 passengers above five different states.

Steampunk Sea had its annual inspection last week, and is ready for another year of flying. During the inspection, we were asked if we were actually flying it. Said it looked too clean to have been flown much! It has a little over 72 hours after two years which is about how much Drifting Dolphins had on it after nine years when we bought it! Thank goodness for our ground tarp!

To pick up any Balloon Fest merchandise before the holidays, The Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce is open 8:30a-4:30p Monday-Friday. The office will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

We are working on our online store, it is still set to be open early 2025!

My passengers were celebrating their 44th anniversary a little early this evening! We had a beautiful fall flight with the leaves starting to turn. We are done with events for the year, and good flying days are quickly going to get even more scarce. We’ll try and get a few more local flights in before the ground gets too wet. 🐢🐬

Look to the sky, Centralia, Central City , Junction City, and possibly Sandoval. Steampunk Sea took off from Foundation Park and is headed to the northwest.
