Here’s a small photo dump of Crab Island from today…

Gorgeous day🤩😍! Little windy but that was a blessing because it was over 100 degrees so the breeze felt great. Water temp around 80 ish which was really refreshing 🤩

Great family outing!

Lots of fish out, jellyfish as well so make sure to bring a little bottle of vinegar just in case. Besides that… no worries!

It was high tide till about 12:30 ish so right now morning start times are great. That said, afternoon start is still beautiful!

If you want to enjoy a family day… ladies day… guys day… birthday… anniversary… engagement… corporate outing… or just a mini getaway… whatever it is….

We’re now on the other side (south side) of the Destin bridge heading to swim spot for a quick cool off dip before going out to the Gulf.

If you watch the chop on the water it’s create by a turbulent current which is the cause of a raising tide. You don’t want to get caught trying to swim in that… that’s one of the benefits of boating… MUCH safer.

If you look around you’ll see it’s the time when everyone is starting to come out on the water. Wave runners, pontoons, etc. All heading to Crab Island and surrounding areas. It will start filling up about 10-11am.
