We have been booked at Swann's View every weekend since October and were slammed for the holidays. It's been far too long since I've sat in the hot tub and enjoyed this view as sun comes up. It's simply stunning, even on a cloudy morning. I enjoy the fog on the mountain just as much as I do the early morning sun.

Swann's View is our sentimental favorite. While it isn't our first cabin, it is the first one that we poured our heart and soul into. We had a hand in the renovations from day one and designed the layout. We chose the flooring, the paint, the countertops, and the furnishings. It was the cabin that proved to ourselves that we could make this Airbnb thing work.

We had a cancelation for this weekend and I talked to Debra about changing our plans from Pine Mountain to Swann's View. I'm so glad she is so easy going and agreed! Spring is right around the corner. The calendar will start filling fast. Book now to guarantee your choice dates.

We caught a visitor last night on the camera at Swann's View. The bears are on the prowl this time of year for anything they can find to load up for the winter.

We had honey bees removed from Swann's View today. They were in the wall of the bedroom upstairs We had been seeing them going in and out just outside the bedroom window.

The beekeeper we hired to remove them said he got three pounds of bees and 25 pounds of honey. Three pounds of bees equates to between 9,000 and 10,000 bees! There were so many that you could feel the heat from the wall that they produced.

After months of hard work, Swann's View is now up and running. We thank everyone who has stayed with us for the past couple of weeks. We have had to work through a couple of bugs and personnel issues, but hopefully everything is sorted out! Our calendar is filling quickly for the upcoming months. Welcome to our newest cabin, Swann's View. We have spent the past month working hard to get this cabin ready for guests. We were sold on this one as soon as we saw the view from the side deck and the kitchen windows!

We are once again holding a drawing for a free three night stay at the cabin. All you have to do to enter is like our page, share, and comment to enter! We will hold the drawing live from the cabin in a few weeks once it is ready to rent. In the meantime, feel free to contact Scott at 706-421-4221 if you are interested in reserving a date for the coming months.

We still have a little work to do to get it ready to host guests, but hope to have it listed and ready by the middle of February. The house will have one full bedroom with a king size bed, one upstairs loft area with a daybed/futon, and a queen sofa sleeper downstairs. It will have a half bath downstairs and a full bath upstairs.
