Sharing a few seniors from the past!

Hey! Thanks for stopping by to get to know me a little better. I think that means we’re starting off on the right foot, and you have good instincts. You know why? I’ll let you in on my little philosophy: photography is more than a camera and a subject, or theme, a creative backdrop or incredible lighting. Photography is the art of capturing connection, of immortalizing your life’s most important moments in a creative and beautiful way. And if you’re going to trust me to do all that, then we need to get to know each other.

I’m Theresa, and I’m so excited to be getting back behind my camera again. I’ve been in the photography industry, professionally, for over 10 years. I started my career in Southern California primarily shooting weddings, but would take on passion projects for families or seniors when I had the time. My camera has taken me to the most beautiful places, shooting all around California, Las Vegas, Florida, and various places in Europe. My work has been found in magazines or different bridal boutiques and expos around the country; one could say I’ve had a successful career. But even with the hustle and recognition, the accolades are not what is bringing me back to my camera. It’s the people I’ve had the pleasure of capturing and connecting with. People like you.

After a lifetime of being a military spouse, raising my three kids who have all flown the nest, and traveling around the world I’ve found myself back right where I was meant to be: my childhood hometown in South Georgia. There is so much beauty here and kind, incredible people are all around. There’s a special spirit in a hometown. No matter where you go, you’ll always carry a piece of it with you. So here I am, getting back to my roots, back to my passions, and ready to help you create a little time capsule on this important moment in your life. I can’t wait!
