🚢 When cruising, a lot of guests worry about inside staterooms for fear of feeling claustrophobic….there are several other options besides an ocean view balcony room if you’re looking to save money!

🚪 Inside staterooms can be a great way to cruise in a budget…they still have plenty of space (taken on Harmony of the Seas)
🚪 Ocean view rooms have a large window to the outside to help with that feeling of being closed in (taken on Liberty of the Seas)
🚪Central park or boardwalk view balcony rooms are another option to still let you stop out into a balcony and enjoy the fresh air (taken on Allure of the Seas)

🎄 Head over to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square to send a letter to Santa anytime during the year!

🖍️ It’s a pretty cute set up with crayons, blank letter templates and a mailbox to send the letter off.

🌟 Royal Caribbean is releasing two BRAND NEW 4️⃣ Night itineraries on their next ship Star of the Seas, which will debut in August! These sailings will be on August 23-27 and August 27-31, 2025 out of Port Canaveral and will visit Perfect Day at CocoCay!

This news is huge because typically, Icon class ships only sail on 7 night voyages (this will be the second Icon class ship). These departures are is a rare way to experience a brand new ship for a shorter duration!

🚢 Icon of the Seas has officially been sailing for a year and saying that it has something for everyone is truly an understatement!

🎥 From the Broadway style shows (Wizard of Oz was spectacular!!), to swim up bars, to zip lining over the ocean on the Crown’s Edge, to ALL the free snacks onboard, to the kids splash pad areas, to the largest water park at sea….it would take me forever to list all the activities that this ship has to offer!

4️⃣0️⃣ I sat down on the couch today and told Jason I was going to plan a cruise for me and my 6 year old for my 40th birthday in March since it was over spring break and not all our kiddos can travel at that time.

🎉 His response was…don’t do that….you already have plans on the Utopia for your birthday 🎉

Utopia of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s newest ship and it only sails on 3 and 4 day cruises. I’m so excited to have awesome parents to watch my kiddos, check out the newest ship, and have some adult time celebrating 🥳

🛝 Did you know that there are 2 play areas in Epcot with slides, monkey bars, and other things to climb? These are perfect areas to let the kiddos run and to beat the heat on those hot summer days!

☀️ There is an outside play area by Test Track and the Creations Ship. This area has climbing, balancing, and riding structures for kids to enjoy. The plus side is that there’s a fairly decent amount of shade.

🚀 There is an inside play area if you walk in the exit of Mission Space. This area is air conditioned and you don’t even have to wait in line to access it!

🏅 The first day of our vacation Noah asked me what my goals were for the trip. Of course I said “spending one on one time with you!” He rolled his eyes and asked me for a real goal.

✔️My two goals for the trip were to eat a cinnamon roll from Gaston’s Tavern and to eat a Jacks Num Num cookie

Needless to say we had a lot of snacks while we were there….we might have even had most of these all in one day 🤭🤭 Remember, Disney calories don’t count since you are walking so much during the day!

🍌 🌵Because who doesn’t need a banana tree and dragon fruit cactus in their house?!

✈️ We are on the way home but minutes before we left Noah finally picked out his souvenir.

🌱 While we were at Epcot earlier this weekend I made Noah ride “Living with the Land”. He grumbled the whole ride and as we got off we stopped by a stand that sold plants that were actually cultivated in the Living with the Land greenhouses, how fun is that?!?!

🪴 This is such a unique piece of Disney World to take home…and it’s cheap! They have everything from banana plants to flowers to herbs.

💥 Pop Century is such a fun resort! I could spend all day just exploring the resort and looking at all the decorations.

At this value resort we are staying in a standard room. This room has a view of the resort, 1 queen bed and 1 pull down queen bed. This is the perfect resort for families on a budget but still want to have all the benefits of the skyliner (it’s my favorite!)

⏰ One of the perks of staying at a Disney World resort is early entry into the parks! We are spending the day at Hollywood Studios - early entry was at 8:30am….the park opened at 9:00am to all guests…we walked in the park at 8:15am and rides were already going.

By 9:40am we rode Rock n Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon. It was also so nice to see Star Wars land before it got packed throughout the day. Disney is so good at theming that even the bathrooms feel like you’re in another land!

🌱 We hopped on the skyliner this morning and spent our first morning at Epcot. We started the day with a breakfast reservation at the Garden Grill. This is a character dining with Chip, Dale, Mickey and Pluto. It’s also super fun because the restaurant actually rotates about the Living with the Land ride while you were eating.

🥣 This meal is served family style with ingredients that are grown right from Living with the Land ride!

🍨 I had the most unique dining experience on our last Celebrity cruise! Le Petit Chef is an animated dining experience where the tiniest chef in the world prepares all your courses virtually right at your table for you! We met Captain Kate and her hairless cat, Bug Naked, today! She’s so down to earth and completely amazing! Captain Kate went on her first cruise at the age of 12 and told her dad that she wanted to a cruise director. Her dad told her her, you can do whatever you want, even drive the thing! Out of 480 captains on mega cruise ships - Captain Kate is one of the 5 women in her position - but the first American woman in her position.
