Vasona Vibrations-Artists' Corner, Los Gatos 2017

Don't forget! This weekend: an Artists' Corner has been added to Vasona Lake County Park's 15th Annual Vasona Vibrations Summer Concert Series— a benefit for Second Harvest Food Bank.
A small group of local visual artists will be on hand this Saturday displaying their latest works of art. All work is created and produced by the artist. A percentage of all visual artists' sales will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.
This Saturday, enjoy the works of mixed media artist, Preetima Baldua, watercolorist, Alain Fastre, photographer, Oliver Klink and jeweler, Nikitha Yelchuru.
This FREE summer concert series will take place at Vasona Lake County Park in Los Gatos, every Saturday evening during June and July from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A $6 vehicle entry fee will be charged.
Enjoy a summer's evening on a broad sun-dappled lawn area overlooking Vasona Lake and Los Gatos Creek, with parking nearby.
Performing artists, sponsored by Santa Clara County Parks and South Bay Folks, will offer a variety of acoustic genres including Americana, blues, zydeco, Dixieland, jazz, big band, roots music, traditional and contemporary folk, and more.

Palo Alto Festival of the Arts: a fine art and fine craft experience

Palo Alto Festival of the Arts • August 27 & 28 • 10 a.m.—6 p.m.
Highlights that will make the trip to this year’s festival well worth the effort:
•50 NEW art exhibits by fine artists whose work hasn’t been shown in the Palo Alto area.
•Something NEW to please the senses. Play a few tunes..tickle the keyboards on the plaza. The “Play Me” Piano is calling out to you so don’t ignore it. Find the wanna-be Dale Chihuly chandeliers..swirling, mesmerizing cavalcades of color and you’re there..Chopin & Chandeliers…corner of Cowper & Univerisity Avenue.
•Again back by popular demand will be more than 60 Italian Street Painters working on 30 larger-than-life chalk masterpieces filling Tasso Street with a sea of brilliant images. Come Saturday, and watch the process; come back Sunday and capture the resulting compilation of colors & creativity.
