Soulshine Equine Experience LLC and Soulshine Equine Experience Scholarship Fund were founded to provide Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) to residents of Alabama. Soulshine E.E. team members are certified or in the process of certification, by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association - EAGALA (www.eagala.org). The client works with the horse ON THE GROUND
- there is NO RIDING. See "General Information" for more details. Founded in Scottsboro, the program is serving Jackson, Marshall and Madison counties and is open to serving other areas upon request. The primary purpose of both is to provide equine assisted services to children, adults, families and organized groups. The Soulshine Equine Experience Scholarship Fund is the non-profit created to ensure that anyone who can benefit from the EAP and EAL services can participate despite financial hardship. Secondarily, a goal of Soulshine Equine Experience LLC is to host and present informative, educational programs such as clinics and workshops for those in the "Equine Assisted" field as well as programs for "Horse People" and/or the general public. Whenever possible and appropriate, the general public/lay person will be offered the opportunity to audit programs.
