Another shot from last night at the Jingle Bell Trail in Downtown Scottsboro. I can't believe it. I think this is now one of my favorite photographs I've done. Lights have always been tricky for me but I'm just so thrilled with the way this turned out. Merry early Christmas!! 😁

The new Jackson County Visitors Guide is hot off the press!! A special thanks to Martha Smith Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce and Elizabeth Law Jackson County Sentinel for your work in creating this new piece for visitors and locals alike!

The annual Mountain Lakes Chamber of Commerce Jackson County, Alabama Visitors Guide went out to subscribers today in the Wednesday, Nov. 6 edition of the Jackson County Sentinel.

Complimentary copies are also available at the Sentinel office located at 208 South Broad Street and the Chamber office located at 407 East Willow Street.

Copies will also be distributed to hotels, restaurants, local tourist attractions and Alabama welcome centers. Inside you can find an itinerary, a family fun guide, lodging, details about festivals, outdoor exploring and hiking trails, and fun experiences from art and museums to recreation such as hiking, fishing, hunting and golfing. Enjoy!

The 9th Annual Scottsboro BBQ Festival is this Saturday, October 12th on the Downtown Square in Scottsboro!! Free admission!

Registration will be from 9-11:30am and the Barq-Off Dog Parade & Show begins at 12pm, with the awards announced at the end. General event hours are 9am-4pm. Park your car at Unclaimed Baggage, Akins Furniture or Patches to ride the free shuttle to the square!

The 31st Annual Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride begins in downtown Bridgeport with riders departing at 8:00am on Saturday, September 21. Join the festivities the night before with live music, fireworks, and free family fun. The official opening ceremony begins at 5:00pm.
