Not every bass on Guntersville wants a jighead minnow right now—I can confirm the lipless bite is heating up! 😁

Lake Guntersville is showing out! 🔥

Coop and I almost broke the 8lb mark with this big Guntersville pig!! 7.82 is where she ended up on the scale. Biggest one I have caught out here in a few years. I’ve lived here almost 15 years now and have only broke the 8lb mark a handful of times. This lake is loaded with 3lb to 6lb fish. Either way it still impresses me every year.

Still searching for a 5lb spot on Guntersville. My biggest spot ever was a 6.01 out of Folsom Lake in California, but I really want to break that 5lb barrier here at Gville. There are a ton of them this size out there!

Another shot from last night at the Jingle Bell Trail in Downtown Scottsboro. I can't believe it. I think this is now one of my favorite photographs I've done. Lights have always been tricky for me but I'm just so thrilled with the way this turned out. Merry early Christmas!! 😁
