AJ is a week from turning 8.5 years old and tried his hand at steelies today a mild day in December. He made the cast set the hook and brought it to the net himself! Top fish of this Fall in my book. Bright fish are still trickling in before old man Winter sets in for good.

Nathans first trout ever and it just happen to be in the dark. I believe this was one of the last nights of the hex hatch. Gerrit caught another shortly after. The hatch only lasted about 35 minutes. Mouse season is upon us..

Couple hex fish from a cold night the other day. The water is too warm tonight for the trout to be let go and die.

The gray drake hatch is slowing down with the colder temps. We are hoping to see hexes flying by the 20th. This is a fine mid day brown caught on a size 18 pheasant tail dropper from Tuesday. Mouse fishing at night was better when the water was lower but still going strong.

Some pics from the the season- I did not take many pics and got them back in the water asap. It was a good Spring along with a good late Fall last year. It’s trout season now and the big boat is in too for Spring Kings and Lakers!
