A beautiful view of Balakot!
Did you know about the famous battle of Balakot?
The Battle of Balakot was fought between the forces of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and Syed Ahmad Barelvi in Balakot, Mansehra District on 6 May 1831. Barelvi declared jihad against the Sikhs and established a camp in Balakot. Along with Shah Ismail Dehlvi and his tribesmen, he attacked the Sikhs at dawn. The battle lasted all day. Despite all the battles the city is a forever green piece of heaven enticing people to visit it again and again!

What do you feel when everything around you is very silent? When there are no cars, no voices, no hustle and bustle of everyday life?
For me, the silence is the best thing about coming to the great outdoors of stark, beautiful Balochistan. In some areas near Hingol National Park and Lasbela region, the first thing you would probably notice is the absolute silence. There’s not even an animal sound. The silence is so profound that you can hear ringing in your ears, because they are not accustomed to this heightened level of quiet. For me, it’s like any clutter in my mind just flies away and I feel light and anew.
Next time you visit this area, be sure to just sit with the silence. If you’re spiritual or religious, places like these are always the best to connect with the Creator. It’s a refreshing and wholesome experience. ✨ "

Sajikot Waterfall is a waterfall located in Havelian Tehsil, Abbottabad District, in Pakistan. It is a popular tourist destination of the area. The waterfall is about 27 kilometres from Havelian and 40 kilometres from Abbottabad District.A newly constructed narrow road from Havelian to Sajikot allows visitors to take their cars right at the top of the waterfall which gives a breathtaking view at that time!

Let's see what has to see about Chandrakup, Balochistan!
"We must stand as tall and firm as mountains,
but we must also be as humble as the earth beneath us. Are we not made from the same clay?

Behind me is Chandrakup, a 300-foot mud volcano located in the Lasbela region of Hingol National Park, Balochistan. It’s an important pilgrimage site for Hindu’s in the surrounding areas, many of who stay awake all night fasting and meditating on their sins, then climb to the top and make a food offering into the bubbling craters. It’s considered holy, an annual pilgrimage as well as the nearby Nani Mandir/Hinglaj Mata, which are caves thought to be millions of years old.
A few years ago I travelled to Nani Mandir/Hinglaj Mata, and was recommended to visit the mud volcanoes too. Ever since then I’ve been wanting to see these natural wonders. There are two other mud volcanoes in the area, all three comprised of Chandragup 1, Chandragup 2 and Chandragup 3. We climbed up one of them, where the mouth of the volcano is apparently bigger but the mud is bubbling less. This is the first time I’ve seen mud volcanoes up close, and they are certainly just a few of Balochistan’s geological wonders.
I’ve got a few Balochistan posts to share before I finish up with the series. As of late, I’m in a new location (you might have seen on my stories a few days ago) and I’ve been taking some much needed time to rejuvenate. Will share more details soon iA ✨

Did you know about Gol Masjid in Sargodha?
