What a beautiful place to swim and so near the city of Seattle… actually, this little beach is in Bellevue! An excellent place to rent kayaks from the REI boat house. @rei We went kayaking, jumped from the dock into the silky water, and felt completely refreshed and like total summertime badasses. What a view! That is Mt Adams in Southern Washington standing guard over the lovely and warm Takhlakh Lake! 🏔 Truth: it’s not exactly easy to get to and do stay off 90…but it’s worth the effort. Bring the kayaks, your bug spray, and your water filter (no potable water).
