What is an Exchange? Simply put, a lindy exchange is a gathering of swing dancers and musicians from all over the country (and often the world) to celebrate what we love most -- the music and the dancing! Even though we are all about competitions and workshop weekends too, at the Seattl
e Lindy Exchange our focus is on live music and the social dance floor. At the Exchange you can social dance with old friends and new faces until sunrise, sleep in as late as you want, roll out of bed and keep on dancing in the afternoon or sip coffee and enjoy the music of local Seattle musicians. If you're visiting from out of town, the Exchange is a great opportunity to log in a bizillion swing-outs as well as have time to check out those Seattle attractions that have been on your to-do list. From the Underground Tours in Pioneer Square to the Woodland Park Zoo, from the FREE Frye Art Museum in First Hill to coffee cupping at any of the dozens of local roasting establishments, there's tons of places to go in the Emerald City!
