BIO:
Born and rai
sed in the PNW, I’m an adventurer with a free spirit and an avid outdoor enthusiast. Depending on the season you can find me in the mountains, forests, lakes, or oceans. With activities that range from hiking, wakeboarding, SUP, sailing, & scuba diving in the summer...to skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing in the winter. My feet are happiest in motion except when they land in stillness on my yoga mat. I found yoga in the midst of intense athletic activities as a way to get grounded and find balance both physically and mentally. Initially it was the combination of flexibility and strength that had me hooked, yet over time the more subtle benefits of stillness, reflection, & relaxation have been the biggest surprise with the greatest rewards. As an athlete practicing yoga, my goal is to prevent injuries, peak performance, enable faster recovery, and clear the mind. I truly love the intersection of dynamic movement and the calm of stillness, and create sequences that include both, with lots of core work, balance challenges, and delicious deep stretches.
