The String of Hearts Vine, or the Ceropegia Woodii, is a member of the Apocynaceae family. The succulent leaves are heart shaped and vary from dark green to pinkish-purple and silver. thing. My background is in art history and book making but I’ve been interested in craft and art from a very young age. I am fascinated with the concept of perception, in particular with ideas of scale. From microscopic organisms to the expanse of the universe, I want to imagine and explore the possibilities. With my new line of terrarium necklaces, I have taken the basic elements of life on earth and miniaturized them, making it possible to carry the earth as a tiny pendant. While focusing on the imagination, I also believe that one’s spirit should be playful at heart. A girl should approach each day drawing from her limitless spirit while absorbing the beautiful world that surrounds her. With cute and whimsical vintage pieces, one can reminisce about the the history and life of the woman who once owned each garment while also recycling and preventing further waste in our world.
