door Center (FLOC) serves all sectors of the community by providing, supporting and promoting quality outdoor education and recreation opportunities; facilitating programs, organizing events, leading tours, and working with partner organizations to enhance existing programs, courses and events. Take a guided tour to get the full advantage of this staff- from a Marine Biologist student, to former USA National Kayak Team Members each person guiding the excursions is excited to be outdoors and leading adventures. The FLOC staff wants to make your experience as positive and exciting as possible-- you will leave feeling connected to nature and recharged with energy!!! Serving Indian River and Southern Brevard Counties, FLOC offers tours to the country's first wildlife refuge, wildfowl management areas, and other great natural locations. FLOC offers a wide range of kayaks to choose from- including sit on tops rigged for fishing, long sleek touring boats and very user friendly stable kayaks for beginners. Floc's staff include Florida Master Naturalist who are more like a Nature Show Host than kayak coach- they are very familar with the local ecosystems and where to look for wild dolphin, manatee and frolicing birds. Our staff also includes an International Kayak Coach- Mike Beck- former member of the USA Wildwater Kayak Team has his certification from the German Canoe Federation. He is great with beginners as well as athletes.
