Happy Year of the Wood Dragon. 🐉

Feels like forward motion is finally possible after a challenging Rabbit year. I love the newfound sense of spaciousness this year brings.

We are in such epic times. A friend of mine wrote "I'm well and moving to heights and depths of light and dark I've never known with such awareness and true consciousness." Me too! With Pluto crossing into Aquarius, we are all facing our collective shadow more than ever before - so much dysfunction that used to be hidden is out in the open now! We are in the oft-predicted time of the Great Reveal!

Our developmental task is to face the shadow within, accept it, embrace it with Light. It's not our fault that parts of us had to be denied or repressed - it's a part of earth plane existence. When we embrace both the depths and the heights, it grows our capacity for more love and compassion - an antidote to what we now want to say no to. Much falls away when you're truly honest with all of who you are. Be very kind to all aspects of self as these transforming energies work us, sparking awake parts of us that might have stayed out of consciousness before. The more hidden ones, the shadowy ones, show themselves, but will retreat again if met with judgment and shame, only to unconsciously affect you from lack of integration. Bringing them into your consciousness, and hopefully into your heart, allows for more integration and self-love, and for you to advocate for your needs rather than be reactive from unhealed aspects of self.

This is why I love the Soul Retrieval process The Council of Twelve has evolved because it brings these disowned aspects into current time where you, and Divine Mother, can nurture them. No child self wants to harm you or your life, they simply act out of the shock and, sometimes, horror, they lived in. Once they are brought into current time and into your heart, they can learn to let your inner adult, your Wisdom Nature, take care of them and direct your life. Finally, finally, they have an adult on duty they can trust!

Our world needs for each of us to devote time and energy to our evolutionary growth, as we're helping to evolve a species that can know union and be guided by the heart. Many nights lately, I've done an hour or two of personal work in the night, as it seems the more I embrace the light, the more the shadow rises to be released. It's a blessing and I'd sure love more sleep! Journaling before bed or after meditation helps to bring that work into the light of day. Gift yourself times of deep self- care and self-reflection so you can live more and more from the resources you have gained, living in now - each sacred moment. 🙏🏼
