Bart and Clay getting it done on a river a little worse off than the day prior. We had a few opportunities early in the morning with fish traveling on the bump of rain we got then they shut off. Until Clay managed a perfect drift with a jig and all hell broke loose! River came back quick, excited for our next trips at the end of the week. Get ahold of me at 509-853-8572

Another awesome day on the best river on the planet.

Two more happy customers. My guy on the right is 70 years old and legally blind. It presented multiple challenges for the day, but I can say that he did awesome! We had hookups from start to finish making it another amazing day on the water. Get ahold of us as this fishing will continue for the next two months. Dates posted in previous post. 509-853-8572!!!

I’ve missed this. I truly have! To say my focus has shifted over the last cpl of years is an understatement. From taking my health and sobriety more serious than ever to making moves on my career has had me busy. Life is finally slowing down enough to get back on the water religiously and it has paid off. It has been a phenomenal spring/summer on the water with family, friends and clients. Now’s the time to book your fall salmon/steelhead trips on the Klickitat River. Another awesome, but very hot day. Make sure you,”REEL!” The wild fish were hotter than the 102 degree temps we faced. The river has been absolutely amazing this season. I’m sure we will start to see sub par conditions with the extreme heat coming, but one can’t not be a little excited to see what the fall will bring. Get ahold of us if you want to fish the greatest river ever created by Mother Nature. 275/seat 3 seats available throughout the summer/fall months. Hope to see you in our boat soon!

It’s been a great cpl of weeks fishing for steelhead with my family. I apologize we haven’t been posting much throughout spring and summer seasons thus far. My new job and sobriety has taken up most of my time this season. Sometimes you have to hit the reset button and start over.

Moving on we will be fishing summer chinook and steelhead through August. I would like to spend more time fishing in the west side this year so if you have any interest in that reach out and let’s set something up! Life is good and is only getting better!

Took a little trip west. One of a few we got to mess with. We were fortunate enough to take home a cpl very nice fish and release a cpl. Life is good!

Our arms were sore on Sunday. We played catch and release with these big boys all weekend while waiting on our shots at silvers. If you’ve never seen a coastal river or fished a coastal river I feel sorry for you. The experience is just different on the west side. Get ahold of us to chase Silvers and chums well into December.

Pretty cool to see myself in Trey Combs new book. In this pic I’m netting a pretty good steelhead for an angler name “Tomo.” He came from Japan to swing flies with all the time in multiple locations.

Fun little day we had. Had to grind for our fish this day, but we found a cpl of limits and had a great time. I just love bobber fishing eggs. The game we play with a fish that doesn’t technically “eat” is fascinating.

Growing up I had the privilege of fishing with two grandpas and a dad that loved to fish. I feel pretty blessed to get to share those same experiences with people weekly. These two in particular always make great memories. Bart and Clay get after it no matter what the conditions or reports say. And they usually are rewarded! We let clay hold all of the fish now. He’s a natural! We’ve been pretty picky with what we keep this year. Quality has been there, so has quantity at times.

This season I’m just posting pictures of the eggs we’re using. The fishing has been fair to outrageously good. Don’t believe me? Come find out for yourself. Have a few dates left, but not much until cohos start in November. A healthy variety always helps when bobber fishing. Just never know!

One of the main reasons I fish salmon and steelhead is definitely to eat it. Sockeye, king and summer run steelhead all brined up and ready for the smoker.

So far Hawaii has been absolutely amazing and very much so needed! Jase got to fly us over the ocean for his first recorded flight for delta airlines. I’ve seen some awesome fish/ocean critters while diving/snorkeling. Life’s good!

We have open dates for summer run steelhead. We will be fishing well into august on the west side(cowlitz, kalama, wynoochee, nf Lewis). Get ahold of us for a great day in the sun.
