While taking a lunch break I like to pretend I am on vacation at the DBH . Today I am enjoying my 2 new favorite products while lunching in my beautiful gardens. With a sea breeze to keep me at the perfect temperature.
1. I am in love with Trader Joe’s Crunchy Chili Onion sauce . I am having salad made with greens from the garden , soft boiled eggs from my hens and tomatoes from the green house ranch dressing topped the the Crunchy Chili onion sauce
2. Enjoying this with Cutwater Espresso Martini on ice from the can . I have to say this is as good as my home made espresso martini!
Wowza really it is hard to believe sometimes that this is my life .
It all happens here at the DBH ♥️

🛁 How gorgeous is the bathroom in stable #1? Picture yourself taking a bath in the huge claw foot tub, watching the sun set over the strait of Juan de Fuca. Or having a leisurely morning, seeing a happy family of deer go by while you shower. 😍

🥖🧀🥐Yesterday's Quintessential French Breakfast was one for the books. We hosted the most amazing group of four who requested our special breakfast, so the Barn House team hosted a private seating in the garden! A full cheese and charcuterie plate, fresh bread, almond croissants, flowers straight from the backyard, vintage place settings, shrimp cocktail, edible flowers, sour cherry jam and peach ginger chutney...and more.

The Dungeness Crab Festival is held in the community of Port Angeles, located along the northern edge of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Approximately two hours west of Seattle across scenic Puget Sound (also known as the Salish Sea), visitors to this beautiful section of the state travel along US Highway 101, passing through the city of Sequim before arriving in the heart of Port Angeles.

Those festival visitors traveling from the western side of the Olympic Peninsula along the Pacific coast will transit Highway 101 as well, driving through the town of Forks and traversing stunning Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park before reaching Port Angeles.

Canadian travelers to the festival are treated to a 90-minute ride aboard the Black Ball Ferry Line’s M/V Coho from Victoria, BC. Docking just steps from The Dungeness Crab Festival activities, this is an excellent way to experience both the event and the Port Angeles community, and we love to visit with our neighbors across the Strait of Juan de Fuca!
