⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "We LOVED the eight hour boat tour with these guys!!! Captain Mark thoughtfully and knowledgeably narrated the tour and we learned so much, saw so many animals, have so many gorgeous photos.... Lunch was delicious. Coffee was good. Warm chocolate chip cookies were totally yummy. The bathrooms were clean. The boat was comfortable and the weather was perfect. (I know they don't control the weather but it was lovely.) Sofia, Jenson and Gail took such good care of everyone and were so warm and friendly. This tour exceeded our expectations by miles."

Tok to border is mostly good. They are working on the road as we speak. There is a section that is super potholes and they’re freaking deep so take your time.

If you encounter a bear in the woods, stay calm. ⁣⁣Identify yourself by making noise so the bear knows you are a human. We recommend using your voice. Waving and showing off your opposable thumb means nothing to the bear.

You could also read aloud the passive aggressive email you wrote to Janet after she wanted to schedule a meeting at 4:30 on a Friday. The bear may come closer or stand on its hind legs to get a better understanding of Janet’s audacity. However, a standing bear is usually curious, not threatening.⁣⁣

The aurora forecast for the next 3 nights is looking great. Kp 5, 6 and 7 is forecast. The weather needs to cooperate, and the sky needs to be dark enough for viewing. We do not go by the times in the forecast for viewing, we watch the data and the sky the entire time it is dark enough, sunset to sunrise.

In addition to the great forecast, as I was preparing to write this, another X flare has happened, which means the great forecast can add another couple of nights. Let's see what happens! We start the data watch TONIGHT.

Photos depict the estimation of the area the aurora might be seen. Red is a higher chance, and green is a low chance. We have to see what the data does before we get too excited. No matter, be ready to stay awake.

NOAA Space Weather says:
Periods of G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storms are likely late on 29 Jul due to the possible arrival of a CME from 27 Jul. Periods of G3 (Strong) storming are likely on 30 Jul, with G2 (Moderate) storm periods likely on 31 Jul, due to the anticipated arrival and passage of multiple CMEs from 27-28 Jul.
