We've found when comparing "teen" plant sizes across the industry, there's so much variety it's hard to know what to look for and what truly defines a 'teen.' When it comes to Dark Heart teens, we adhere to strict standards for each plant well before they arrive at your local club.

Among these standards, one of them is incredible important in identifying teens vs. clones: height. Teens are vegged in our greenhouses until they reach, at minimum, 18 inches tall. Thoroughly rooted in 1 gallon pots, or our newest configuration, 4 inch transfer pots, teens are ready-to-flower plants that give growers serious advantages in the garden.

Due to their height and extended veg time, growers save precious time and resources dedicating their focus to flowering plants instead of vegging them. Teens are a great way to quickly try new genetics, fill in gaps in your garden mid-season, and optimize where resources are spent to save in the long run.
