Hello on this snowy January day. Working on the first 2025 santa of this new year. Feels great to be back in my studio. We have been under the weather, my dad would have said sounds like the epazzotic! Finally on the mend. I’m working on orders and I ask for patience. Stay safe and warm❄️❤️

Well I did say we needed rain! The garage and studio are nice and dry but it may be to wet for a garden stroll. Rain, wind or shine we will be ready tomorrow.

Big thank you to everyone that attended our Garden Party, especially those that came in the rain. Enjoyed strolling through the gardens and discussing why are all the flowers blooming early and where are all the butterflies? And those nasty Japanese Beetles! Huge thanks to my family and friends that helped with setup, food and running the shop. I love you all❤️

The day started out a bit wet! These two gals have been her before and came to see the flowers. Turned out to be a beautiful day.
Thanks to everyone that stopped by, so much fun visiting with everyone. Plant question of the day…what is that plant with large leaves, kinda purple?
Answer, Ligularis. Some years there are seedlings to share but not this year. So try some seeds. I still have plants and seeds to give away tomorrow.
Looks like a great forecast so come for a stroll 🌸

Sneak peek of our garden. A nice rain shower would be welcome. As I collected Japanese Beetles to feed the chickens there were three monarch butterflies floating around. Very few butterflies this spring. Always something to see🌸🐝🦋. Happy Summer!

We have been very busy in the gardens weeding, hoeing, planting and watering. Up early in the morning trying to beat the heat. Spending the afternoon in the studio. Can’t wait to see everyone!
