This concept has evolved for me over time, as I continue my growth as one. Well for me it started within the walls of my capillaries filled with the blood of my ancestors. The mixing of ancestry ranging from the nature centered ways of the American Indian, the renessaisance period in Italy, to the Warrior ways of my Nordic and Scottish viking kin, to the American Pioneer, and the soldier fighting
for what he believes in; realizing that the history of my personal melting pot, both in the ways they were blessed, and their struggles have affected everything that I have become, much that I must learn from as well. The concept then progressed to encompass my love for the study of martial arts and several books that have touched me to my core. Eventually, I realized that it is with every action, every movement that the Spirit of the Warrior can be seen. And that is the message I try to impart to my team as well: that your attitude, effort and heart in those most difficult moments is where the Spirit truly rises and a Warrior is reborn. When you hire us you get a crew that is present, here and now, to you and for you, in every moment and movement, with every piece. This is not just our job, but our seva, our art, our meditation if you will, we pour all that we are into every move. This is our sport, and we always put a hall-of-fame worthy team on the field. Honestly, we are lucky to have a profession we actually enjoy, and (most of the time can) keep a smile on our face, as long as you don't mind the occasional barbaric grunt as well! All the while caring for your peace of mind, creating a pleasing moving experience with Service at the heart of it. It is not always easy, and may never be perfect, but we always bring our best, it is a constant process of growth, but we are always up for the challenge . There are only some people who would be interested or able to work in such strenuous labor fields that the moving industry is categorized in, and we are working-class folk. We are just normal guys, fathers, sons, brothers, students, athletes, no different from anyone else except in our attitude. And we would be glad to show you; just show us to your piano. Having been in the industry for over a decade, I can tell you it is an infrequent thing to see a mover grab as much as he can keep balanced on every trip, stacks of 4-5 boxes, trip after trip, moving dressers or couches on one's own, yet knowing one's limit and when help is need it, asking for it. Searching out something to challenge oneself with. Over the years I have encountered just a handful of laborers that have enough pride in what they do to push themselves in these ways, embracing the challenges that can be faced, never shying away from them. We have been fortunate enough to have had several men with this attitude before joining with us and have excelled here, and have been blessed to see that this attitude can be cultivated in others in who it may not have been the natural inclination. We wear our pride on our sleeve, our sweat is part of our triumph. It is on those "marathon" days, those 15, 16 hour days that we are at our best, pushing through at a clip that surprises everyone, it is in those moments the Spirit of the Warrior truly shines. Be well,
