Great friends (one since high school) set sail on the 15 Day British Isles Explorer today from Bergen, Norway. Why am I not with them? š¢ The Viking Sky will be home for the duration until they disembark in London July 1, and it will be a very comfortable floating hotel, for sure. Honeymooners arrived at Margaritaville Riviera Cancun yesterday for a week of sun and fun at this beautiful resort. I was there last month and enjoyed it very much. From the floating taco bar, to the ālicense to chillā atmosphere, this is a great resort to wake up to while we have a rainy Monday here at home. Congratulations, and have a wonderful time. After many months of planning, my friend and former boss (when I was a teacher), and part of her family departed this afternoon on a dream vacation to celebrate the graduation of her oldest granddaughter. Two years ago, when the oldest grandchild graduated from high school, he had a tropical destination in mind, so we planned a great Hawaiian trip for him that they all were able to enjoy. This year, the destination is England, with a short stopover in Wales for good measure. From Ted Lasso tours to Lake District tours, haunted pub crawls, even a soccer match on the agenda (and that is just a small sampling of their planned excursions), the next two weeks are going to be full of adventure, beauty, and memory making. They told me to put them on my page, so I have included some photos they sent me today from the airport! Thank you, my friends, for allowing me the pleasure of helping curate this amazing gift of travel. It has been so much fun to planā¦I just wish I was on the plane with you!
Grandparents making memories with grandkidsā¦some of my favorite trips to help plan. This is the third such trip for a grandmother who takes her grandchildren somewhere they want to go during their 13th year. Her granddaughter wanted Yellowstone National Park, so mom and dad tagged along, and 4 of them landed in Bozeman, Montana, this morning, picked up a rental car, and made their way to their lodging in West Yellowstone. Happy June 1st and Bon Voyage to a family of 16, including 4 generations, who set sail a little while ago onboard the Carnival Vista bound for the Eastern Caribbean for the next 8 nights. I love trips like these that allow families to spend time together and make memories that will last a lifetime. This trip has been booked for almost a year, and weāve had quite a few changes, but luckily everyone made it to the port today! My photo memories reminded me that one year ago today, I was riding the waterslides at Hard Rock Punta Cana. This morning, a group of new high school graduates and many of their brave parents are waking up there and getting ready to experience all the fabulous resort has to offer for all ages. Big waterslides, small waterslides, quiet relaxing pools, fun party pools, a beautiful beach, a bowling alley, a world-class casino, many restaurants and shops, a golf course, large rooms, a music venueā¦need I say more? Between birthdays, Motherās Day, a quick trip to Dollywood, and a high school graduation, this last week has gotten away from me! Iām only a week late wishing new clients a ābon voyageā on a Mardi Gras (Carnival) 8 night Exotic Eastern Caribbean cruise that returns back to Port Canaveral tomorrow. They have been to St. Thomas, San Juan, Amber Cove, and Grand Turk, and today, they are enjoying a last sea day before becoming landlubbers again in the morning. Alaska cruise season begins approximately the middle of May, and ends around the middle of September. My first of several 2024 families arrived in Seattle yesterday for a pre-cruise night stay at the historic Arctic Club Hotel before boarding the beautiful Discovery Princess today to kick off the season! I love when families travel together, especially parents and their adult kids, like with this family of 5. Whale-watching, glaciers, dogsledding, and so much more is on the itinerary for the next 7 days, and Iām so excited for them! If you havenāt experienced the beauty of our 49th state, you should consider it! Itās one of my favorite destinations.

Today is āBrotherās Travel Dayā at RushOur Travel. My brother and sister-in-law arrived are spending the next 10 days in beautiful Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, at Hyatt Zilara for a fabulous adventure that includes golf and marlin fishing. What a great birthday gift that they both get to enjoy!
My brother-in-law and sister-in-law also left today on a 7 night āreward for a do-it-yourself completed projectā cruise on Enchantment of the Seas. Nassau, CocoCay, Grand Bahama Island, and Key West are on their itinerary for the next week.

Two of my favorite clients are departing on another big adventure today! This time last year, I had just arrived home from two weeks in Europe, and one of those weeks was spent cruising down the Danube River on the gorgeous Avalon Envision. Today, two best friends since high school arrived in Prague, Czech Republic, to spend a few days there before traveling to Budapest and boarding the Envision for the Danube Dreams river cruise. Theyāve been dreaming of this trip for months as a perfect way to celebrate turning 65 last month. I know they will make even more fabulous memories as they stroll along the streets of Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Passau, and even Salzburg, as well as others. Itās a WONDERful day to go sailing, especially on Royal Caribbeanās Wonder of the Seas from Port Canaveral. Two couples boarded this afternoon and will cruise the Eastern Caribbean all week, starting with Coco Cay, then St. Thomas, and last, but not least, the home of some of the bluest water Iāve ever seen, beautiful St. Maarten. The Hotel Del Coronado is one of the most famous hotels in our country, and Coronado itself is perfect for sightseeing, leisurely walks, and great beach time, even if the water is a little chilly! 12 clients, including 5 brothers and their wives (how cool is that?!) landed in Zurich, Switzerland, this Easter morning, then met their transfer and headed to Lucerne to spend two nights there touring that beautiful city before traveling to Basel, Switzerland, (hometown of my favorite tennis player, Roger Federer) and boarding Avalon Waterways Illumination. This trip was so much fun to help plan, and I know there will be many special moments and memories made along the northbound Rhine River on its way to the final destination of Amsterdam. Spring Break Italian style! A family of 4, mom, dad, and 2 teenaged daughters, arrived in Rome, Italy, this morning for the beginning of a 9-night Italian sojourn curated by RushOur Travel: 3 nights in Rome, 3 nights in Florence, and 3 nights in Venice before heading back home. Lots of tours, 2 train trips, and even scavenger hunts in each city are all on their itinerary. Iāve already heard from them today, and they are loving Rome and their hotel, which I love to hear! Who needs Ireland or even Savannah, Boston, or Chicago to celebrate St. Patrickās Day this weekend? Iām a day behind, but two couples of brand new RushOur Travelers took to the sky yesterday morning, headed in opposite directions. One couple flew north to New York City to celebrate a belated 20-something birthday while on a break from college; the other went south to Punta Cana to celebrate a 20th anniversary!
