Are you a forager? Want to explore private land? We’ve got 22 acres of forest floor/meadow/wetland for our campers to explore. I’ve only found this small patch of ramps - right along the driveway - there are likely more hiding around here!

Tracks in the woods are everywhere! This curious slide/drag had us totally confused but we’ve learned that it’s from a river otter! So far our list of Animals in Hedinskogen Woods includes deer, coyotes, owls, otters, skunks, raccoons, pheasants, woodpeckers, cats (feral or neighboring barn cats, we’re not sure 🤔) and numerous other bird species.

Received our first reservation for mid December. We suggested bringing along a sleeping bag and they replied ‘no worries we will have all our cold weather gear’… PERFECT! 🙌🏻 I think hipcampers are going to be a great fit for winter at the ‘skogen 🤩
