Here is link for those of you on a private well with lots of reading if you are concerned about your water source in this time of drought. Also, good information in general. Remember it is rare that groundwater recharge occurs in the summer months. The good news is there is more and more rain showing up on long range forecasts.

Penn State Extension has many written and video resources to help with the proper management of private water wells, springs, and cisterns.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to a successful Shillington Memorial day parade. It's a lot of work to get gear parade ready, we're thankful for all our team members who spent lots of time cleaning and preparing equipment for the parade. A shout out to the many other area contractors who also participated. Lastly, thanks mother nature for holding off with the rain!

Far more important than the picnics, vacations and parades is the importance of this weekend and specifically Monday. Memorial Day. Take pause and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. It is not a day to mourn but rather remember and reflect on how great it is to be an American and how costly the price of our freedom truly is. "Freedom is not free"....
