The National Day of Prayer!

The National Day of Prayer is May 2nd 2024, just a couple of days away! America has never been in such a fight for it's existence as it is today. Any nation that has turned its back on God and His ways will end up reaping the whirlwind into forgotten history and then when its iniquities have been fulfilled, it will no longer exist!
Corruption and iniquity flowing from the Church House to the Court House to the White House has eroded our once great nation into a cesspool of debauchery and lawlessness.
From the expulsion of God from our classrooms, to the lack of parental Biblical training in our living rooms, we have ignored the mandate of teaching and training our offspring fellowship with God, through Jesus Christ His Son, and how to live according to His Commandments and His ways in a manner that is pleasing to Him!
In the words of President Ronald Reagan and I quote, " If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under"!
As we stand at the threshold of "a nation gone under" there is only one path to reverse the impending judgement and destruction of these United States of America that once had the outpouring of the blessings of God Almighty, from "Sea To Shining Sea".
That path is the path of PRAYER, FOR THE MERCY OF GOD ALMIGHTY!
Only as we humbly come before the Throne of Grace and petition a Holy God by confessing our sins and iniquities and those of our nation, as Nehemiah did, will we gain audience with the Judge of all the earth!
As a nation we have shed innocent blood and slaughtered millions of babies in the womb, and the Church to a large degree has stood by and allowed it through our lack of outrage and electing Godly leaders! We have neglected the widows and orphans, those oppressed and truly in need, while lining the pockets of undeserving official's and those who would milk the system undeservedly and unashamedly.
As a nation we have continued down a path of rebellion against God by passing laws that completely violate the teachings and intent of the Scripture's!
We have violated it's clear and precise instructions to follow in order be blessed and not cursed in every way from our finances to our faithfulness!
As the song writer has so fitly written, "The Only Hope For America is Jesus"
Therefore, II Chronicles 7:14 If my people which are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and heal their land!
Is America too far gone? We serve a God who says, "Is anything to difficult for me"
May this National Day of Prayer turn into a Continuous Prayer of "Turn us unto thee O Lord and we shall be turned, revive us Lord and we shell be revived!"
I urge you to Pray as if the very survival of our nation depends upon your prayer, because , it DOES!

In this New Year 2024, we have an opportunity to reflect on the year that has just past, and the year that is to come. Like many, we sometimes make New Years resolutions or have desired changes that we would like to see in the coming year.
As Christians we often see areas where we have been pleasing to the Lord or perhaps areas where we have failed Him. Today we have another opportunity for a new beginning and perhaps a fresh start to press toward a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May the Lord Bless You and Keep you in 2024!!!
