A huge thank you to Captain Jameszon for making our first season a success! Born and raised in Sitka, Jameszon began exploring the waters of Sitka Sound at a young age. In his three decades of local experience fishing, he has been a captain and deckhand in several different commercial fisheries. We were lucky that he was ready to do something different and captain a charter vessel! Jameszon’s friendly personality, having a passion for the outdoors, willingness to teach, and a love of fishing makes him a wonderful captain. During Jameszon’s free time you will find him spending time with his fiancé and sweet furry pups, and adventuring outdoors! Thank you for a great 2024 season, Jameszon!

Meet Lucas, our owner and captain! As a lifelong Sitkan, Lucas started gaining his experience on the waters of Sitka Sound from a young age. He has worked every commercial fishery and his career in charter fishing began at the age of 12. Thousands of fishing or sightseeing guests have had the opportunity to be on a trip with him over the years. Lucas has a very high standard for safety but also providing a superior guest experience. If Lucas isn’t on the water fishing or in the forest hunting, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé and two young boys. His fur baby is a true daddy’s girl and loves all adventures with him. If you have the chance to fish with Lucas, know you are fishing with a true local who has extensive knowledge on the waters near Sitka, Alaska.
