Discussing having wanted to put a water slide down Mount Harding, and breaking ground on it before the whole project was shut down by the city Government in the 90’s while waiting for guests at the dock.

Engine 73. In May 1947, the Baldwin Locomotive Works built this steam locomotive for the White Pass and Yukon Route. It operated until 1964, and four years later it was moved to Bennett B.C. as a photo op. It was then moved up to Whitehorse where it was restored. It took about three years but it has been on and off the track ever since. It is constantly being restored and taken care of. It is a chilling experience hearing the train echo through Skagways small valley!
