Quick reminder - most dog boarding kennel are "booked" a month or more before major holidays. Also, good idea to do an interview/tour before desired dates to insure a good fit. Enjoy the sunshine today, gray skies, colder weather, rain and darkness on the way. Maui in November looks inviting.

Okay, some nice people picked up this bad boy running around MSHS parking lot a couple of hours ago. He has one of our Mark's Pet Pals red tags, but his name isn't on it. He's safe and sound at our kennel and I'm trying to find his information, but without a name, it is a challenge. If he's yours or you know him, please contact me.

Per a request, sorry, we are not accepting zebras unless they are neutered and are current on their vaccinations. Also, they still have to come for an interview/tour to see if they are a good fit.

After a discussion on Sat. 7/23/22, we decided to downsize the kennel business a bit. As of September 1, 2022, we no longer are doing doggie day care as part of the business and just doing overnight boarding with fewer guests per night. We appreciate all our wonderful customers, but there comes a time to enjoy more of the "golden years". We have meet a lot of dogs and their owners over the last 12 years and it has been a interesting time. New and different adventures await. Still want to visit Japan or S.E. Asia and awaiting airfare to drop down and travel restrictions to lighten up.

Just a quick note: As we see mid-winter break come to a close and dogs leaving this Saturday and next Monday (office closed Sundays), spring break is not that far away. Spring break is Monday April 11 -15 for Snoqualmie Valley schools. Currently, we have 7 openings for that time. Perhaps by March 11th we may be close to getting fully booked? I have communicated with other kennels around and they are also getting filled up early. Also, a valley Vet clinic has stopped doing dog boarding at their place. Good time to schedule for dog boarding for the spring. And lastly, daylight savings starts March 13, with spring starting March 20th.

Okay, our kennel assistants keep going off to college or moving out of state. Looking for a trustworthy and responsible person that likes to spend time with dogs, can greet the public and get paid. Should be at least 16 and can greet customers from time to time. Occasional kennel coverage when we go out to dinner, need to get away or spend time with grandkids. Interested?
