Supports others to connect with embodied wisdom, peace, health and wholeness. About Chloe:
Chloe's father introduced her to Yoga when she was 16.
Four years later, they trained together as teachers at The White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara. She has picked up all sorts of techniques from myriad other teachers on the way, and taught at Yoga Soup in Santa Barbara, UCSB, Aspen, Snowmass, Venice (CA), Thailand and Bali. She studied Anthropology and Drama at Stanford where she earned her BA and MA. She sang in the Psychedelic Afro-Latin Pop
band, The Silver Pesos. A student of Meditation for 13 years, mainly in the Theravada tradition of Vipassana (Insight Meditation) via Spirit Rock, and Somatic Meditation, she wishes to share practices that have helped her relax, breathe into the scary places and appreciate things just as they are. In 2013 she did her first month-long silent retreat, and Byron Katie's School for the Work. She found her deepest calling getting out of her head, and deeply absorbed into the easeful, ecstatic, moving meditation of Qigong. She trained to teach Radiant Heart Qigong with Teja Bell. She is a member of the Teacher's Council of Roaring Fork Insight. She has studied with the Hendricks Institute, and trained to teach The Embodied Present Process teacher training with Philip Shepherd. More than dogma or poses, she is interested in stopping the struggle, and being free, open hearted- love in action. To this end, she draws from many teachers and traditions in addition to Buddhism, including non-dualism, mystic poets, Byron Katie, integral meditation, transpersonal psychology and anyone who can see through the belief in the separate self and have a good laugh. She lives with her partner, David, in Santa Barbara, where she teaches at Yoga Soup and the Santa Barbara Tennis Club. She travels often to Aspen, CO and offers teachings through Roaring Fork Insight

Starting tomorrow, all my far flung friends can come and practice with me on Zoom! https://www.yogasoup.com/schedule/
Begin your day tending to the body, mind, and spirit. Radiant Heart Qi Gong is a moving meditation (like Tai Chi) that connects us to the effortless flow and pulse of energy that runs throughout the body. This sacred art tonifies the nervous system and cleanses and vitalizes the energy body. After some Qigong, we will root our practice in guided meditation, and from that stillness, dive into the dance of yoga, one pose flowing into the next, opening at our edge with the breath. This moderately-paced vinyasa flow emphasizes the development of core strength, and the principle of resistance. Following this series of warming practices, we will cool down with a juicy Savasana, lulled by live lullabies. The ultimate purpose of our time together is not self-improvement, or getting it “right"; rather, it is to welcome and cultivate a passionate intimacy with all aspects of ourselves and our experience -- from the sublime to the beautiful, from the ordinary to the extravagant expression of the complicated human mess. Together we will come alive in our bodies and lives with full delight!

New Talk on Realizing Oneness, and Grief Ritual coming up -
The miracle cannot be separated from the mess. The Kingdom of God is not a place apart, apart from your trauma, apart from your fear, apart from your grief. When He said heaven is here, now, among us, there were no caveats, no exceptions, no fine print.

Dharma talk & Meditation at the Aspen Chapel next Wednesday -
"We fail to see that like the weather, we are fluid, not solid. And so we suffer. The second noble truth says that resistance is the fundamental operating mechanism of what we call ego, that resisting life causes suffering. Excited to be back in SB and get to play with the amazing community of Yoga Soup
Dear Ones! I'm back in SB until mid-December and am excited to offer a class filled with my favorite things. Qigong and meditation complement each other so perfectly, and yoga helps us open up even more deeply to commune with who we really are.
We often end up focusing on and chasing conditions we think will make us happy instead of zeroing in happiness, or freedom, itself. What is happiness or love? Where is it? Is it in some future moment? In some more … Continue… [ 782 more words. ]

Just published my first post on my Dharma Blog. Where to start but with Beginner's Mind!
As a child, I was pretty sure adults had it figured out. I was surprised when, in my twenties, the all-knowing confidence I’d projected onto big people continued to elude me. Maybe the spiritual pa...

I seek, through various modalities, not to fix or change or educate anyone, but to support others to directly experience their true nature; to connect with their own wisdom, peace, health and wholeness- to remember who they really are.
