Please keep our family in your prayers. On Easter morning both Dewey and my mom were admitted for RSV and pneumonia. They fought a hard fight and even returned home after rehab at Soddy Healthcare. Sunday night Dewey became ill again and went by ambulance to North Park. His lungs were not healthy enough to survive a second round of pneumonia. Dewey, my mom’s partner of 12 years (my aka step-dad) went to be with our Lord on April 30. He passed peacefully after receiving amazing care.
May 1, my mom returned to North Park with a second round of pneumonia as well. She is currently in North Park Park with multiple issues complicating the pneumonia diagnosis.
Both families need all the prayers you can send. We know Dewey is in heaven awaiting my mom’s arrival. They were adorable together. I’m sure he has her side of the bed turned down, her pillow fluffed, and telling her they will no longer have lung issues, need meds, etc. 🙏🏼
As hard as it is for all of us, Dewey is living his best Godly life. My family was so blessed to have him in our lives. Absolutely amazing man and he loved my mom so much!
Please say an extra prayer for Brandi Wright (Dewey’s granddaughter) and myself! We have been by their sides for a solid month - sleep deprived, cried together, laughed together, and now we have to say bye to half of our Dewey and Mom Duo.
We will see you soon! 🥲❤️🥲

Izzy crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🥲 Her wings were ready but our hearts were not! She would have been 18 years old in December.
She was the sweetest girl and followed me everywhere. She could put in miles all the way up to the day she passed.
Please keep us in your prayers! This has rocked our world! Life without her will not be the same.
We loved you so much Izzabella Grace Reed and I know you were well aware of how much love we had for you, but baby girl you are already so missed!
Please meet me at the gates of Heaven where we will meet again! 🙏🏼 I can’t wait to see your tail wagging and get more kisses!
